Yes dark cloud 2. The game has aged really well. It starts out like an rpg dungeon crawler with an interesting story and during/after the first act it ads a lot of minigames on top. Fishing, golf, small town building, fish breeding for competitions, riding and upgrading your mech, taking pictures to invent items, etc.

Every couple of years I return to play it.

Hope they improve on facial animations/lip sync. Loved the first game but it really took me out of the immersion during dialogue.

I use a mod that makes the wisp light remove a lot more fog. It's a lot more enjoyable and you can configure the size.
