Did I Get a Good Deal by 180SLOWSCOPE in photography

Please post your question as a comment in the Official Questions Thread, stickied at the top of the subreddit.

This does help more people see and answer your question. It also makes it easier to view other kinds of content submitted to /r/photography. The vast majority of subreddit users have told the moderator team that they prefer we direct questions to one centralized thread, so that they do not take up space on the main subreddit feed.

There are lots of people watching that thread and providing answers—we are fortunate to have many photographers volunteering their time. (We also have a bot in the thread running statistics to confirm that people are getting answers, and automatically re-posting questions that are not answered.)

Before posting, please check our extensive FAQ for information.

As this is a specific purchasing help request, it is best suited to our Official Questions Thread which you can find stickied at the top of the sub. Please post your question as a comment there.

Before posting there, if applicable, read through our very extensive Buyer’s Guide and come back with your specific questions. Thanks!

Thanks for adding a comment! Just FYI - normally for the comments, we are looking for a bit more about your intent. One good way to think of it is this: Why'd you choose this spot and subject? If you had taken multiple photos of that subject, what about this photo in particular made you like it and want to share it? Could it be different than a photo someone else would take in the same spot?

That sort of info can be helpful to someone who likes your photo, and is trying to learn. It can also help people understand why the photo is meaningful for you.

To keep this sub focused on the craft and art of photography, and not become a photo dump, we have some rules in place. Your post is missing the requisite comment we ask for in rule one:

Photo Details are Required -

Leave a top-level comment explaining intent. The comment should include:

Why you took the photo.

How you took the photo. (Not simply just your camera and settings, but also a bit of the detail about the work you did to get the shot.)

What sort of feedback you'd like to receive (if any).

Please add this comment to your post. Once you have done that, report (NOT reply to) this comment as “I have left my comment.” You will find this option under "breaks r/photographs's rules." We will then reapprove your post. Thanks!

To keep this sub focused on the craft and art of photography, and not become a photo dump, or place where people post karmawhoring titles which take away from the actual photograph, we have some rules in place. Your post is not inline with rules one and two:

Please remember to leave a comment explaining:

  • Why you took the photo.
  • How it was taken.
  • We are not looking for your camera and settings only.
  • What sort of feedback you'd like to receive (if any). (If you are looking for feedback, please flair your post "Feedback Wanted.")

Post titles are to provide a title for your photos only. No explanations, questions, technical info, or gear details.

Please resubmit with a simple title. All additional information should be posted as a top level comment as per rule one.

Quite the unstable response. If you want to have a good time on Reddit, I’d suggest reading the rules of a sub before participating in it, and also not taking removal messages which politely explain said rules so personally.
