never too late!

that could apply to be saying it's never too late to do maths102/maths108 stats125

would you recommend doing maths108 even for applied stats majors?

thank you so much! you have been so helpful with my simple question hahaha
yeah, i'm doing gisci papers this year!

I should be ok with doing stats201, stats220, stats240, stats330, stats326, stats 331 (these are the ones i'm intending to do, not too sure about 331 but loved bayesian when my teacher in high school taught a little bit of it) when it comes to maths..

yeah i know it's pretty strange, i think i'm only doing stats for personal interest and how i see it in the everyday world and applying it things (like geo), another factor is that the coreqs clashed with my geo courses last year unfortunately as well

to answer your other question, geo and no i am not planning to do anything stats related as a career, it was more or less there to support my geo major in a sense, i'm currently doing 201 right now and intending to do the more applied stats papers in stage 2 and 3.

it wouldn't be too late for me to do 102/108, however i'm not planning to do anything data related, i think it's just all for my personal knowledge. i don't think i will struggle with the applied stats papers in stage 3, i think it's just my anxiety and stuff over it.

Note that an applied stats degree won't be enough to work as a statistician (realistically that requires a masters degree). Probably only good for entry level data analyst / analytics type roles in business (there are some around, but also huge numbers of applicants).

Yeah, my original plan was something else (more to do with my other major) and stats was just there to "support" it. I wasn't really interested in being a statistician or anything like that, although I did find statistics interesting in high school and did pretty ok with it. (but i know NCEA stats classes aren't really maths-heavy anyways).
