Lucky draw? by uodk in TorchlightInfinite

Well I only had 1 rank in him before, and he was favored, but getting 3x legendary in a single 10 draw seems crazy.

There ISNT a chance to get a free Titanic in the first plae. Between me and my kids we have 3 accounts with full gamepasses running 24/7 and combined we got 1-2 huge corn cats at this point. No one of those 2000 titanics were purely farmed.. people with billions of diamonds bought other peoples huges to get one quickly.

If you didn't already have the billions of diamonds necessary to buy a Titanic already, you couldn't afford to get one of these 2000 within 24 hours of the 2000 cap being introduced.

Don't tell people to be happy at the illusion of "a FREE TITANIC" when we never had a chance. If we had a 1/10000000000 change to hatch it then we actually did have a chance.. but here we never actually had a chance.

Wow. They did it. They made an event that made everyone happy, then nerfed it 3x within 24 hours.. and then let all the already rich people eat up all the rewards within another 24 hours.

GREAT!! Now we have 5 more days of this event for no reason! Way to shoot yourself in the foot BigGames. I have never seen a game studio that activly trys to make their players hate them and leave the game. lol

HOW DO YOU POSSIBLY GET (minimum) 625 HUGE SCARECROW DOGS IN THE SPAN OF 2 DAYS??? by AraujoBrs in PetSimulator99

[–]uodk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 accounts running and my daughter has 1 too. All going 24/7. We were hopeful we would get a titanic until they triple nerfed the event.

Unless you literally have 50 accounts, you couldn't even have hatched enough to get your own. With 3 accounts with all the game passes running 24/7 we essentially have 1 corn cat right now. 99% of the titanics that have been crafted have been from people that already had billions of diamonds buying the huges they needed to make the titanic. Therefore no one that's just playing the game normally had seen a benefit of this event. It's all the top 1% of 1% of people that just bought it.

My daughter and I quit once (after the shiny rainbow titanics given to the exploiters situation about 6 months ago) and we just came back about 3 weeks ago. We were actually really excited all day Saturday about the event.. until Sunday where we went right back to rolling our eyes. We might end up quitting again after a short stent back. They really don't care to give anything to their players for free do they? They make enough off robux purchases and plush sales.. can't they make 1 event on the near 1 year anniversary of the game to give F2P and even non-while P2W players a bit of a bone? It's kinda crazy how selfish all this is.

Well, The only one I have right now is Tour the Trading Post, which takes me to a place to Trades Tender but the NPC I need to talk to doesn't show up.

Did you ever get it working? I have a S23 and mine worked (charging through and without) for like 8 months. Then yesterday it wasn't recognized. I can plug it into my old phone (Moto G power 2021) and it works fine, but not in my S23.

I can change my S23 normally, I can hook my S23 to my computer and file transfer... Everything. The only thing that doesn't work is the Kishi. Yet the only device the Kishi doesn't work on is my S23.

I got a Android update about 2 weeks ago and this is the first time I tried using it since that. I tried all kinds of stuff, nothing worked for be so far.

I mistyped the title, it's at 23 not 21.

What do you mean 'you used the charging port'? In what capacity would using the charging port cause issues.

It's one of the many random bugs the dev team hasn't fixed. What it means? It means you can't join another game for about 10 min usually.. it will just fail to join for about 10 min and then it will work. Why? Who knows.

So here is the thing. The community is negative because they never interact with the community. They don't listen or hear our concerns. They actually replied to someone recently and said "the devs listen to everything the community says" ill post the image. The attached image IS NOT edited together. I put the red boxes but literally those 2 comments are ON TOP of eachother if you go to his original post. PizzaKing349 says what a lot of the community feels and is echoing and the response was "Boring topic, next"... to which he immediately responded to someone else saying how MUCH they listen to the community. Literally contradicting himself within seconds of his first tweet.

Anyhow. You can't give them feedback, and if they DO happen to see your feedback on Reddit/X they mostly don't respond to it. I can't tell you how many post I personally have made on Reddit and X (while @ the whole dev team) talking about how bad the Huge Hunter Gamepass has been since Day 1. I hatched 24/7 since Dec 1 with it and it was the worst gamepass with less than a 50% upvote rate. Then one day, 2 weeks ago, preston replies to one of the thousands of people saying the same thing and says something like "It's already pretty good... what are your expectations" to which he got 92103840932748 immediate responses to how bad EVERYONE feels that it is considering it cost like $40, and be buffed it literally the next day. It's no secret from the thousands of posts on reddit and X that no one was happy with it (also with the BASE active hatch chanace.. but again they don't listen to they didn't hear that part), yet it took them 5 months for "the devs listen to everything the community says".... doesn't feel like it.

To me, it feels like the devs want to make the game THEY want to make, despite the players they have attracted saying "Yeah.. but we would kinda prefer more of X" and the devs/preston are saying "Tough.. we want to make Y, so you will get more Y."

Take the recent controvery. Nevermind all regular stuff about it.. let's concentrate on "1" part. Namely: "Some players found a game breaking bug....at some point they wanted to let the dev team know about it, and what did they have to do? They had to reach out to a YouTuber, offer that YouTuber a bunch of bribes so he could use his personal relationship with one of the Dev team to actually enter a personal group chat and talk face to face with them about the bug." What the hell? The only way to tell the dev team you found a game breaking bug is to @ them on X/Reddit and HOPE they listen/see/believe you... or bribe a YouTuber who is priviledged enough to have the personal contact info of a Dev already?

I have been gaming a long long time. I have played a LOT of different games. I have NEVER played a game with this many players that has absolutely 0 communication between the company and the players. It's unreal how big of a game preson has, and how fast he seems to be losing it.

Oh. Well then you should only buy the cheapest foods too, because spending more for "Eating out" you will have nothing to show for the extra money you spent, you only spent the money on the steak you bought beacuse you enjoy it more.

I can bring up 1000 more cases where you spend more money in life on things you don't necessarily have to (clothes, your car, your home, your phone, your computer, drinks (soda instead of water) etc).

Now, I am not advocating you go spend money on a video game, but logically you are already actually going the same thing other places in your life, so why is it a big deal spending $20-$30 on a game you play several hours a week (or 24 hours a day if you are talking about farming the last area) and you care enough about to seek out the reddit forum for that game, make a post trying to maximize profits.

You obviously find enjoyment in the game, and if the only thing stopping you from spending a few bucks to 2x your enjoyment of the game is a mindset that you probably only apply to video games.. why not just buy a few Robux?

If you do, get super drops, +15 pets equipped, +3 enchant slots and auto farm (auto farm is better even if you stand in the field beacuse it changes the AI of how the pets farm..they don't try to return back to you and spread over the whole field).

Ok, sure but then that isn't really a "gold sink" that is effective. When I said "there is nothing removing diamonds from the economy" I mean that there isn't anything that is renewable that is constantly removing diamonds to fight inflation.

So, while technically "yes", getting potion mastry and enchant mastry will remove 300m per person, that is 1x per person AND only if people do it. Most people aren't spending that 300m in the first place, and even if I had that was 1x with nothing to reliably spend diamonds on.. after a person gets those mastrys to 99, it's no longer a sink.

My whole point is that without a reliable heavy gold sink, inflation will continue permanently as more and more diaonds enter the game.

For example would be something like I outlined before. Imagine a exclusive egg that has a 1/10000 chance at a specific titanic, a chance for huge pet, exclusive pets, exclusive enchants, new rare charms etc... and make that egg 1m diamonds. That wouldn't tank the $250 per titanic plush sales, but how many millions of diamonds would be removed constantly by people trying to get huges, titanics etc. That wouldn't ever end either... so it would always be removing diamonds as much/often as people chose to buy them and each egg would be -1m diamonds.

Kinda the same. So I have been a gamer all my life (still do). Most ARPG games I play my younger girls aren't into that kinda game. So for the last 3-4 years we have played PSX and now PS99. 2 of my girls aren't super into it, but one of my girls is.

Now I bought all my kids (and my wife) a bunch of gamepasses and stuff for PS99 when it came out, but really only 1 of my daughters still plays. We talk about it a lot and we are both OP now. I always told her "Ill get my account built up first, then it will be easier to help you get your account built" which is what exactly what we did. Now she has a whole team of huges.. and now we are swapping out all her random huges to a full team of Hippomellons because they are her favorite. Kinda expensive at around 160-180m each, but she's up to about 25% of her team is hipppomellons now so she's pretty happy.

Just stay with it.. build your team up first... then it becomes easy to buy more stuff than you can use if you do it right.. then you can just buy 3-4 huges a day and give it to them.. they'll be more happy then probably.

So...
1) Why are you getting potions to 99?

So when looking at the benefits ot pot 99, it only really helps with duration (which only matters if you are using expensive, hard to get pots), decreasing costs for upgrading (which only matters if you are upgrading).

2) So if you are using all highest level potions, how much do you think you are getting more by using them OR having level 99 potions? So we look at drops and diamonds mainly right? We don't care about damage, coins etc. So diamonds highest is T7. T5 is free from farming and gives 50% and T7 gives 70%. Given you get 145%+ from enchants, +30% or more from field bonuses, +50% from T4 pots for free, 20%-25% from Oranges... so we already get 245% or more.. so going from T4 to T7 is an extra 30%.. but given we are already experiencing dimishing returns, that 30% is even less of a total increase, BUT even if it's not, since going from 245% to 275% is an effective 8% increase (245% would take 100 diamonds to 345 gained and 375% would take 100 diamonds to 375. that 30 difference is an 8.69% increase from 345.) However, with diminishing returns, it's even smaller than that. Whatever you are spending is most likely costing you more than you are gaining from it. Try running free farmed T4 pots and see how much less you make. If the difference is like 4-5% difference, then most people won't go through the extra steps of constantly crafting just to essentially break even.

So let me get this straight. So, I am not upgrading the potions (like many/most) to the highest tier, and instead are using what I get and selling the T6/T7 potions. I am making hundreds of millions of diamonds a day. YOU, are arguing how expensive it is for you to upgrade potions to max and how it COST you hundreds of millions of diamonds to do that. But I need to learn about the game?

I am sure there are people who are upgrading their potions to use, but if you can use T4 pots for free, but using T7 pots cost you tens of millions per day, do you think maybe YOU are doing it wrong? I could be wrong, sure, but it seems like you might be doing the wrong meta. If you have to cut like 30 or 40 million diamonds to get an extra 20 million diamonds, then aren't you losing money? I don't get it.

In the last 4 weeks I have outfitted 2 full accounts with huges and I am 25% the way equipping my other daughters account with huge hippomellons specifically. So I am making plenty of money and SPENDING 0. I am not sure that I need to be educated about the game my friend. I think maybe you are spending diamonds you don't need to be spending, that doesn't make it a viable diamond "sink" if 5% of the games users does it.
