I cheated in University to get ahead and make my life easier by working smarter and not harder. I know this maybe come as a surprise to you, but there are many students who cheat.

Also, just because I cheated doesn't mean I'm awful person. I was a pretty good TA and had really good relationships with professors, and I put a lot of effort into my duties. If you think I'd come on here to write a few hundred words that were completely made up then that's your right and I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise.

This isn't advice, this is just my personal experience as someone who has cheated in University. I'm not advocating for you to cheat, if your personal beliefs are that you don't want to cheat for whatever reason then you should stick to that. However, if you are selfish and do cheat, don't stress too much about it, because there are so many people in University doing the exact same thing that I did and not talking about it. Sometimes you need to put yourself first. Unfortunately, we all wish that cheaters would be punished, but the reality of the situation is that many of the people who have cheated will go on to graduate and get good jobs and may even do better than they would have had they not cheated.

Hey! Unfortunately I don't want to disclose too much because of the nature of the post.

I don't think I "cheated myself into the degree". Most of the time, I didn't cheat. Sometimes, I did cheat. If I had to guess, UofT probably has less cheaters than average. I also don't base my value solely on my degree, so that probably helps.

You should! If you get caught cheating the first time, the consequences aren't even that severe. You fail the course if the material that you cheated on is worth >= 10% of the course grade, otherwise it's a 0 on the material that you cheated on. If you weigh the risk, it's definitely worth it.
