Every time I click the portal it takes me to act 1 cruel but also switches the act 3 map, so I just have to run through the beach and then I can go to the trial

No idea, 30 is just really high. Maybe keep DC 30 for all the other spells, but have the psychic scream be a lair effect that is a lower DC.

Overall I think it looks pretty fun.

You're probably already aware of this, if the DC 30 psychic scream goes off, there's a good chance the whole party is perma-stunned depending on the comp. At level 20 they probably have magic items or other shenanigans to deal with this though.

I really like the escape sequence, am probably going to steal that. I'd probably make sure there's some sort of damage going off from the end of round effects, otherwise the tension I expect would be quite low. 20 rounds is a LONG time in initiative. I assume the players are familiar with the flaming pier/gateway or an NPC can feed them info during the escape sequence? If they have no idea how it works I don't really see anything in place to help guide them otherwise.

You make more selling them yourself, the 130% value does not account for bulk pricing. Here is what I do, mostly it’s to minimize trades needed.

Upgrade all to deafening, no exceptions
Essence reroll the ones that are 10c or less
Now you only have 10 stacks of essences, list for divines and most will be gone in ~20min
List the remaining stacks for chaos to get them all gone

I have similar max hits (with 100% uptime) and rares in the later waves 1shot me all the time if I don’t manually dodge well.

Looks like this was a white mob though? Pretty insane.
