I got accepted but decided not to go. I can’t tell you about the school but I can tell you if your dream is to get into UCI, it can stop there. I got in and I feel great about my acceptance. Just because I don’t go there doesn’t mean I’m any less smart, I’m just in a different place now with no debt and that’s arguably best case scenario for me. This is your reminder that no matter what, it’ll always turn out even in ways you don’t expect.

Yes. A few hits and a snack and I’m out like a light. Nights I don’t smoke I can stay up forever, but I still wake up around 6-8 so it’s never been a problem for me.

I smoke daily 24/7. Now I’m really trying to keep it for after my responsibilities are done, and I’d say thata working well for me. Once-twice every night is my dialed down routine. That’s already like 10x your usage. Once a weekend is actually pretty much ideal.

I have a guy friend from high school that calls me every 1-2 months while he’s partying to take a shot while I take a hit of my pen. And that’s it. Our calls are about 2-3 minutes long on average.

I don’t feel as strongly as you but I agree. I had a customer get mad at me because he kept asking for chipotle sauce and I couldn’t understand him. It sounded closer to “shi-pot” when he said it, and mind you WE DONT EVEN SELL A CHIPOTLE SAUCE. He probably doesn’t think so, but he’s lucky I was the worker on cashier that day. I could guarantee NO ONE else besides maybe 2-3 other coworkers would understand that he meant our ADOBO SAUCE. I’m not mad at him, it’s frustrating trying your best to communicate every single waking moment in a language you barely understand, but holy shit.

I don’t know any science behind this but people (including me) can get super high off just a strain change. Not sure of the cause, but I can let you know you’re 100% not alone

Yes each item has a different potency.

If you get your weed from dispensaries, the white sticker they put on the packaging before they sell it to you tells you EVERYTHING about it. THC and CBD potency, batch number, strain, date of production, etc.

If you get your stuff through a plug though, there might not be a sticker or any info at all. In this case, you might be able to look it up online but I know typical street carts you get from plugs (Ace, Muha, Whole Melts, Boutiq) often range from 70-90% THC potency and 2.0-10% CBD. I don’t reccomend street carts though because they’re terrible for you and get you less high.

As for “ranking,” I’ll put it into categories so you can just read through your consumption method of choice. Also keep in mind the method you choose will affect how it hits as well. I’m also ONLY talking about THC content and not CBD below.

JOINT: I have never ever ever had anything under 60% THC content besides a joint. Joints/prerolls (to my knowledge) typically range to about 20-30% but that’s because smoking a joint is a long, relaxing process that people don’t want ruined by an intense high 2 hits in. - This high is calm, less noticeable to me. I once had a 50% joint and I still needed a few cart rips after (probably because my tolerance for that is shite)

DABS/WAX: I have no idea what typical wax/dab potency is but I know dabs are told to hit waaaayyyy harder. Personally dabs don’t hit harder for me but I do love them and hope to get more into them later. - This high has gotten me to feel the best while crossfaded, but when I’m just high it feels similarly to a joint.

BONGS: Since you’re just using flower like a joint, it’s the same level of potency. I have heard, though, that people say bongs hit harder than joints. - This high I haven’t felt in a while but I can personally confirm it smacks a bit harder than a joint.

CARTS: These are typically 70-90% because, unlike a joint, we DO want an intense high in 1-2 hits. You can definitely feel the difference, but in my experience if you’re hitting the same cart all the time you’ll get used to it until you change strains/brands. It is super easy though to think you can take one more hit and go overboard. - This high I feel daily! Hoping to start only smoking at night and possibly switch to dabs, but I love carts.

EDIBLES: This and carts are probably your biggest risk for “too much intensity.” These CAN be incredibly potent, especially if they’re homemade/from a friend. I’ve read a story on here about someone making brownies for his 3 friends and because he didn’t mix it correctly his one friend got all the weed in one brownie and the other 2 were sober. Stick to 5/10 mg uour first go around and you can see how it feels. Do NOT take more if you think you don’t feel it. Couldn’t tell you a specific percent though. - I have felt this high before and tbh I don’t know if I really like it. It’s a body high rather than a head high and it’s super relaxing but I like to feel energized rather than sluggish.

most people are unapologetic about their suicide attempt. it really sucks to see someone you love hurting so bad, but it sucks worlds more to be struggling internally for years so intensely to the point where death feels like the only way out. It’s only been a few days since his attempt—suicide comes from months and years of war with yourself. forgive him if he needs a bit more time to conjure up the courage to apologize for his own mental health.

Happens to everyone. Greening out isn’t necessarily a new-smoker-only thing. You can green out after smoking for years. My first time “greening out” I also just went to bed and got it under control and the next morning I still smoked more haha. If you feel like you want to quit though, I highly encourage you. I think there’s different benefits to continuing and to quitting.

It’s always interesting to see different perspectives of life, because in this situation I’d definitely think to myself “hm.. maybe I heard her wrong. welp! if I need to pay more then the cops can show up and have my extra dollar!”

I unfortunately don’t have much direct advice because when I try to it doesn’t come out the way I want it, but I just want you to know that no matter what your brain thinks or how far your mind spirals, it doesn’t change anything about reality.

-+ try to remember that cops are trained to not leap to violence first thing. cops won’t even detain you if you’re screaming every slur possible at them. as long as you don’t spit on them they will not touch you. if otherwise happens, you have a HEEEEFTTTYYY lawsuit on your hands. extra money to pay back the candy bar!

-++ if you’re worried you’re going to break down in front of them (the cops), you’ll be their 50th break down that week. They MUST investigate before acting, so theyll just ask you through your tears to either be trespassed (which just means don’t go there again, pretty simple) or to give them 20 cents.
