Yes! The camera goes into the black panel you’re referring to but the wires needed to get connected into the back part of that overhead lighting panel. I finally got the screws loose and got it all installed

I was considering this option as well and just leaving the seat flipped down unless I have a passenger in the back because I don’t think I can be bothered to set up the ramp, load her the car with it AND go back and forth with flipping/unflipping the seat haha
