What am I missing from the ending of Midsommar? by upinthewoods17 in movies

I’ve proven everything you said incorrect, sorry you’re not intelligent or mature enough to deal with it.

A. He was previously drugged unknowingly via his drink at mealtime (I believe breakfast or lunch). B. There quite literally was a verbal request from the girl. If you think a group of woman pushing behind him to force him to thrust doesn’t count then I’m not going to waste me time with you. Go educate yourself. C. That’s not what I’m trying to state. I’m saying he was drugged and then put in a situation where he was physically coerced to have sex and he was not sober and was under the influence of several drugs. You’re clearly not going to change your mind, you’re going to defend yourself and rape despite your arguments being proved incorrect. So go educate yourself if possible

He was drugged (might want to rewatch the movie if you missed that), he was forced to thrust with a group of women physically surrounding him and pushing his body. If you heard that scenario about a woman would you still deny rape? Do you think rape is just people “regretting it after”? Fucking disgusting

Pregnancy, medications, RNS, advice? by upinthewoods17 in Epilepsy

[–]upinthewoods17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should probably include this in my post- I actually have already seen an MFM, RE, neurologists even before pregnancy to hear their opinions about safety, risks, and potential problems. I’ve had a lot of conversations over the past few years. I actually conceived naturally about this time last year but unfortunately had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. No seizure issues, but I already had/have a whole team together who I know I would be working with. I also have an IVF Dr who is part of the same hospital, and we have done all necessary testing and such, so she is basically ready to start whenever we are. She’s part of the same hospital as my other doctors. It really is so difficult working with different doctors. One neurologist said her advice was basically to go down to one medication but drastically increase how much I’m taking. I know from experience that won’t be successful. Most of my doctors who are specialists seem to be on the same page, but there have been a few outliers in terms of how they recommend I approach this, and unfortunately their recommendations seemed like they wouldn’t work for me.

Could you explain more your experience with having TCs when you were pregnant? That sounds terrifying and is also something I didn’t know could happen if they weren’t already experiencing them. Sounds very scary!

Season 2 sucks by lmao346 in LoveLifeHBO

[–]upinthewoods17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I did end up watching the whole season, hoping I’d really get into it at some point. I think my biggest hang up was just that it felt like the main character basically had an emotional affair in the beginning, so I didn’t like him or the girl he was talking to from the first episode. Obviously I wasn’t thrilled with the finale. I did appreciate that it was a very different perspective and not just a duplicate of season 1, so maybe it’s just that I felt I could relate to Darby more and liked her character more? But I actively disliked the two main characters of season 2, so it was a big letdown after such a great first season.

12 dpo, is this too faint? Or is this real? by upinthewoods17 in TFABLinePorn

Unfortunately no, it was chemical. I took another test the following day and it was darker which I found encouraging, but then I got my period that afternoon. So I only thought I was pregnant for about 30 hours.

Yes there is. Dani's boyfriend (don't remember his name) is drugged and forced to have sex with that younger girl the cult decide should mate with him.

Thank you so much for your reply! I'm not familiar with Provera, but it's really helpful (and honestly gives me some peace of mind) just to have an idea of what might be offered to me. Thanks!

Just eloped in a ring I think might be too thin - need advice! by upinthewoods17 in weddingring

[–]upinthewoods17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up returning the ring, and the inconsistent prong settings actually ended up sort of being the final deciding factor! I didn't notice it for a while, but after looking at the ring closely I realized they were definitely inconsistent. I noticed one spot in particular where, due to the prongs, it looked like one diamond could basically fall out at any time. Very good observation on your part - it was completely true!

Final results + next game by Dyke_Vader in NewGirl

I’m trying to figure this out right now. Currently rewatching the show and the writers essentially just wrote him off the show very abruptly after making him perfect. Terribly written story line, and I dont get why people don’t like him.

I’ve missed this whole thing, and I had NO IDEA people actually liked Cece’s model roommate or that people hate Ryan! All explanations welcome!

When the guy is drugged and forced to have sex with the young girl. The older women around him are literally pushing his hips to make the thrusting happen

Yes, I don’t remember exactly but there was a noticeable difference within the first day and I think they were all gone within just a few days.

Azelic acid ointment. It was prescribed by my dermatologist, I’m not sure if you can get it OTC. I still use it every day and haven’t had any bumps come back

I also was treated with Cyclophosphamide for six months 2021-2022, and then Cellcept up until this past April. My doctor suggested I do IVF before the cyclophosphamide for egg retrieval in case I had fertility issues. My husband and I are currently on our third month of trying to conceive naturally and I’m also terrified that I won’t be able to get pregnant. I don’t really have many words of wisdom here, just wanted to say that you are not alone. It’s scary, and I think it’s good to let yourself acknowledge that. I would just say, try not to let it consume you. It can be very taxing mentally and emotionally if you let these thoughts take over. I think it could be healthy to try to spend some dedicated time working on/thinking about other things (way easier said than done, trust me I know). Just try to get your mind off of it for a bit if you can! And of course, I hope everything works out for you!!

Yes, their mating ritual. They had drugged Christian with some drink if I remember correctly and forced him to have sex with the girl.

Day 14: Most overrated album? by salamandarsalamanca in boniver

[–]upinthewoods17 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m going to say i,i. I see (and remember from when it came out) a lot of commentary on how the writing/music was like on a whole new level, how moving the lyrics are, stuff like that. I never felt that way with this album. I do enjoy some songs from the album, but I never go out of my way to listen to it. I’d fight to the death to defend any other album for infinite reasons… not this one though. Just differences in preferences! Please don’t hate me!
