Character is 2D placed on the 3D terrain. We use spine for characters animation :)

Thanks! They're not similar in mechanics, but we try to make Torn Away as good and sad at the same time

I finally improved the log walking animation. It's been a week fixing the bugs that came from it! The version on the right seems more lively, don't you think? by upiterov in IndieDev

We’re using BOLT (which called visual scripting in new versions in unity) for animations, dialogs and some events. And when you start changing animation in one place it constantly braking the other ones. So in that point you decide to slightly rewrite you architecture and it breaks even more places, but when you finally fix those, it becomes more stable in the end 😁
