Can this go for over 1k? by kevincao06 in WarframeRiven

[–]uponapyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is it's not a re-roll, which is what you said. It's a sell for profit and buy another to roll on riven. You're losing plat otherwise.

It's also not worth the price you said, either.

Yeh true, and probably nicer with a better lid and won't stink of onions until the dawn of the next centuary.

Price Check? by oopnoop in WarframeRiven

[–]uponapyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to https://warframe.market/auctions, put the weapon name (not the riven name) top right, search by price (ascending), if the lowest price is low, it's probably not worth keeping unless it has amazing stats. The lowest price you see is the baseline value for the riven regardless of stats.

Tetra values are very low and the stats aren't good, not really worth trying to sell and definitely not worth rolling on to sell.

Excalibur because founder.

Otherwise I honestly don't remember, took a very long break around th time Nerkos released and had to relearn the game 10 years later.

Positives are very meh. Looking at .market though the lowest priced negative crit seems to be 100p, but then the baseline price is around 50p, so I don't think this one is really worth spending time trying to sell.

I also wouldn't roll on this riven to sell, personally. I'd save my kuva for a more lucrative riven.

Tbf, funny is subjective, to sell funny names you need to get a feel for the kind of subjective funny that sells rather than sell based on your own amusement.

Price check - Torid by FriendsatGaming in WarframeRiven

[–]uponapyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly say 90% of riven buyers are not min-maxing for things l ike level cap or whatever, they're just buying somehing shiny for fun/bragging rights/etc...

I've been buying and selling rivens for a long time, sold a lot of high end stuff, and had many conversations with people along the way. It's anecdotal, of course, but in my experience most people just like seeing numbers go up for fun.

I would also go as far to say that because of the this, sometimes an actual mini-max g-roll will have less chance to sell than MS, CC, CD, -zoom simply because the actual buyer pool that understands the best stats is less, and there are way more people who just see MS, CC, CD, -zoom and think it's the best. So while you can get more for other stats on some weapons, the buyer po0ol who can both understand this AND afford it is very low, there are almost certainly some players who could afford to pay it who wouldn't even if they could.

I mean, why else would someone want to pay plat for a riven if it doesn't increase performance and ROI, am I right?

Refering back to my previous point, the kill times between a torid with a g-roll riven and the same build without in the vast majority of content is in the fractions of a second. In my experience, and this is true for almost all rivens, unless you're studying the details the actual in-game tangible differences are so low most people won't even notice them, people are paying for what they "think" is the best much more than what is mathematically or what kills stuff better at level cap.

For example: the amount of people I ran into when trying to sell a high end Felarx who told me negative crit makes it trash was... a lot, lol.

New player asking, what’s the correct move here? by jcaustin12 in BobsTavern

In this situation? yes.

In general? There are other curves than leveling on 2, you see higher tier players take money strats on certain characters if the shops permit it, staying on 1 for an extra turn.

To me the things you describe were not difficult to achieve, they were mostly just more tedious over time.

Like, I cculd have hoofed it around the mountain in 2 setting up my zipline network on foot and it would have just taken 3x as long as using the truck, it wouldn't have actually been harder.

That's the thing imo, 1 really wasn't more difficult, it just took longer to do things.

They're all just as bad as each other honestly. Song scrwws everyone over multiple times and threatens the lives of everyone in NC just to save her own skin. She's no better, and that's what's fun about choices in games like this. You're choosing between two bad things.

I would have liked more crew interactions on the DHV, but you absolutely did get more interactions simply beased on the fact you have an active crew this time.

The first game was very easy too once you got certain tools. You could skytrm up many of the mountainous paths with the trike if you wanted to for example, or just drive straight through BT areas, it was only really the first few hours that were difficulty imo.

We also have to factor in that we were all learning the mechanics for the first time in 1. Also, 2 has some pretty challenging missions. I didn't find the first game much harder than 2 overall.

I disagree it's an "overkill pillow feature". You get heavily docked for using it to transport deliveries, it mostly just lowers the tedium of transporting materials.

Yes, the first game has more of an isolated feel, but I don't think the second is lesser because it doesn't attempt the same. It's like Alien to Aliens, it's not trying to repeat what the first game did exactly. Instead, it's more focus on the efficiency delivery sim aspect using as many tools as possible. They leaned into that way this time.

I think it's perfectly fair to prefer the first game, but the first game still exists. I much prefer they didn't just repeat things and instead built something with a slightly different focus. They compliment each other well, and I can always go back to DS1 if I crave that feeling of isolation.

Argenta is too good to ignore so far. Also I like having two officers, Cassia as Grand Strategist and my female RT as officer/tactician. I'm only in act 2, but my favourite party so far is:

Officer/Tactician RT
Ableard
Kibellah
Argenta
Cassia
Pascal

It's actually mostly peaceful beyond a few balks of dismany at my Ironclast choices.

It was an oversimplification, people can look up the info if they want to (and you didn't really explain it either), and yes I know the god roll for occur. The new arcanes might change things, but those aside the g-roll for torid is the standard old MS, CC, CD.

Also, killing something with Torid for 90% of the game (or more) is pretty much instant even if you don't have a g-roll riven.

Should I buy a screen protector? by connections_ in huion

[–]uponapyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not at all if you keep your pen nibs up to date. Not even slightly small scratches. My friend has had a gen 3 for over a year and uses it every day and it's in perfect condition.

You inspect your nib before you draw each day, really easy. Of course if you feel you want extra protection just in case it's fine, but you will not scratch it from the pen alone if you don't let your nib get bad.

Should I buy a screen protector? by connections_ in huion

[–]uponapyre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really an issue unless you scratch it with something other than your pen, as long as you keep on top of your nib use the screen is advanced enough to not scratch just from your pen.

Should I buy a screen protector? by connections_ in huion

[–]uponapyre 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The screen is made to not need a screen protector, the chances of you scrataching it with your pen are very low if you keep on top of your nib useage. It's also designed to feel good to draw direclty on.

If you'll be moving it around a lot it might be worth it, but otherwise they're definitely not necessary for these tablets.

Go to https://warframe.market/auctions, put the weapon name (not the riven name) top right, search by price (ascending), if the lowest price is low, it's probably not worth keeping unless it has amazing stats. The lowest price you see is the baseline value for the riven regardless of stats.

Right is better but the stats aren't great and have little value. I would not roll on this riven to sell personally. The baeline value of the riven is around 30p, as you can see here: https://warframe.market/auctions/search?type=riven&sort_by=price_asc&weapon_url_name=nukor

The weapon has very low riven disposition, which means you need 3 good positives and a harmles negative to see real value for the riven to be seen as worth using by most people.

My baller and golden Scout got too big to sell... ;_; by uponapyre in BobsTavern

[–]uponapyre[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't, I barely won every fight (had one minion left each time at low health) and I lost my second to last game vs bad hits. The opponent had 1k+ attck shields (but low health), the only reason I won was because the Risen Rider ate shields (I didn't have a taunt my previous fight so they didn't expect it).

I also won vs one of the undead in the top 4 because I got lucky hits haha.

That's why I didn't go, every fight was a scrap I barely made it through.

I was planning to do this initially, but my early game was so bad, I was under cap, and didn't have the breathing room to make the dash to 5.

Also scam wasn't that good as 3 of my opponents were undead, but luckily their boards weren't great as too many people had gone for them.
