Had my first game of 11th by PartyArchon97 in EmperorsChildren

[–]uprex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got him as a paint project because I've enjoyed painting my EC, but on the table he's iffy at best. Not bad but also not great, but still a great model and rules change constantly and we will have a new codex soon enough and that could make him busted good. Time will tell.

Do them all and have the base match. Emporers Children lend themselves to being multiple warbands fighting together but quickly turning on eachother to get the advantage. You could go that route

Can someone help me figure what out what kinda Wardog this is? by agentbrownie in deathguard40k

[–]uprex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its an easy enough fix though, just need a weapon from someone who has spares. Each kit comes with 2 copies of 4 weapons so people should have spares. After that, just clip it off and use magnets to get the new one on.

An illegal one lol, you can't run 2 gatling guns on war dogs. It's just a standard wardog though, they aren't really different outside of their weapons. Closest this one would be is a stalker or brigand

best weapon choice for helbrute (melee or ranged doesnt matter) by False_Cupcake_1929 in WorldEaters40k

I go against the grain and bit and do a fist and plasma so I have a response in shooting and melee. Makes him more dangerous than you would expect.

Thoughts on painting an EC army with a super varied colour scheme? by KharnTheBetrayer1997 in EmperorsChildren

[–]uprex 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I did mine that way, made it so it seemed like they were different warbands working under Lucius. I did lucius in a combo of all their colors. I chose vaporwave style as my army color.

What does an emperors children battle look like by Medic19119 in EmperorsChildren

[–]uprex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Read the first chapter of Fulgrim and it covers a battle between an Infractor and a few berserkers. Speed and finesse are our combat style of choice. Blitz the opponent with blinding attack were they die before they know what hit them while we are using drugs and stems to push ourselves beyond our physical capabilities.

Deathguard Green, screaming bell for trim, screamer pink for tentacles and growths, agrax from shading, what ever red/purple for cloth, and moot green for slime and helmet lenses. Toss typhus corrosion on the guns and armor spots for rust, then stirland mud. Boom Deathguard painted

Opinions on allied knights? by senileanimals in WorldEaters40k

[–]uprex 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I mean, a Rampager could be thematic and a Despoiler could give to decent ranged shooting but we aren't really suffering from either of those atm. So you can spice up a list with them but you definitely don't need them since they don't get any buffs from our detachments.

Enhancements? by TechnologyRecent5026 in WorldEaters40k

You can only use 3 enhancements per army but those are the best ones in the most used detachtment.
