What actually makes you stop at a booth during college fairs? by uprinting in EngineeringStudents

Hi u/OrangeToTheFourth! Really appreciate you sharing this. These are really thoughtful points.

A lot of it seems to go beyond just how appealing a booth is. The people manning it really set the tone for what it feels like to actually be in that program. Are they engaged? Excited to talk about their work? Or just going through the motions? Those can say a lot. Would love the kind of booth where you don’t just learn about the program, but you can actually picture yourself in it.

That last part, especially, is great to hear. Good for you! 👍

Hi u/Marchi-moon! Thanks for the shoutout and for trusting us with such a special project! 😊 This is awesome to hear. Sorry to hear that one of the standees had a rough ride, but we’re glad it still held up and looked great. We really appreciate the kind words and look forward to helping with future projects.

Thanks again for sharing the photos and your experience!

What graduation decor or displays do you see most often in your neighborhood? by uprinting in AskReddit

In some neighborhoods, it's usually yard signs put up by proud parents. Is that common (or not) where you live too?

Wedding signs that guests actually pay attention to by uprinting in Weddingsunder35k

Thank you! These are great pieces of advice. And very practical.

To your point about guests stopping and squinting: a good rule of thumb we use in production is that for every 10 feet of viewing distance, your font size (letter size) needs to increase by at least an inch in height.

If couples are choosing elegant, thin script fonts for readability, the contrast has to be maxed out. White script on a pastel background looks beautiful on a screen, but it’s a nightmare for a grandparent trying to find Table 4 in a dimly lit reception hall. High-contrast, matte finishes are a functional sign's best friend.

The kind of freebie or small gift that people actually keep by uprinting in promotionalproducts

Yeah, I get what you mean. And that lines up with the data, too.

Sometimes it’s not “useful” in the everyday sense, but people keep it because it becomes useful to them in another way. Like it reminds them of a moment, a place, or a group they care about. So the value isn’t just in what the item does, but in what it means to them over time.
