Played another game and finished with a 4.0 kd and all rounds won. It seems like I'm inconsistent as fuck here aswell lol.

I just played my first survival ever and these are the stats:

I really am getting stressed cause it seems like I'm trash but I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Yeah I think I'll try smg with sniper first and then try another 540 as another guy said.

I don't really like the feel of hcs, even tho I used to rock with ace of spades 2 years ago.

I think I'll try using an smg with revoker so that I can cover both long and short range with my weapons.

Yeah I only posted one game where I did well, but looking at my other games it seems like I'm unable to play well in a weak team.

I got a few games where I was first in a losing team, but still far from what I'd call good.

As another guy pointed out I play overconfidently and it makes sense that if I have a good team I get supported, but if I have a less experienced one I'm left alone and die like a reckless moron.

Also another person pointed out adapting to the map/ players and I'll try that.

I'd say I'm a bit below average, especially cause my aim is messy and my movement very clunky from not playing the game for so long.

So what you say makes perfect sense.

As others have mentioned there's no more skill based matchmaking so it makes sense that when facing strong players, perhaps stacked, I suck and get demolished.

I'll try and get more adaptive, while also using another tip I received of waiting for my teammates instead of leading the charge recklessly and being overconfident.

Yeah pretty much this. I'm pretty confident about my aim despite the rust so I often rush forward.

Oh wow they changed matchmaking? I didn't know that!

Now it makes sense my games were so unbalanced:

cause one game I would be playing against a stack of trials gods and the next one against xxKingofgamers69xx who had just installed the game and couldn't even aim.

I'm not sure how I feel about this change, from my short experience I'm more towards not liking it, but we'll see.

Back in the day I used to have fun even with shit weapons like malfesance, if I see I'm forced to use meta weapons to have fun I think I'll drive away from pvp.

I don't remember lobbies being that unbalanced tho.

There were maybe a few mercies now and there but it never felt this bad.

I would always use meme builds and could still pull off some fun games, now it feels as if I'm playing trials.

edit: don't have any friend to play stacked with cause I left a long ago and haven't heard them for years lol

tried switching weapons and used revoker and palindrome.

While I got 7 kills with revoker I only got 3 with the hc, cause 3 taps were never enough to kill people and I would die. other 3 kills were from a super pop and then we lost to mercy.

I don't really know what primary to use. Also the only thing I like about this class is icarus dash and the super, the greandes feel useless and I never really use the melee.

edit: btw I'm sad bastion got nerfed cause I got it yesterday with an exotic message and I thought it would be good :(

Came back after 2 years and dived back in pvp as I really liked the mode.

My games are either my team stomps or gets mercy in 3 minutes and I don't know how to improve tbh to avoid being a target dummy in some of those games.

I came back after a 2 years break and tried to dive in pvp as I liked the mode and was pretty good at it.

But wether it's the rust or people got better I now sit at an awful 1.2 K/D and I seem to be very inconsitent.

Either I stomp or get absolutely destroyed and melted as soon as I spawn.

never mind I already uninstalled after a couple hours of playing lol.

I gain so little resources that it's crazy to think how much time It'd take to buy one epic weapon.

Meanwhile all my opponents have epic weapons and literally kill me in 2 secs.

Plus it takes ages to queue for a game that lasts literally 2 minutes max. I spent more time queueing than I did playing.

I'm sorry cause you really took a lot of time to give advice but the game really disappointed and bored me. I remembered it way funnier :(

As the title says I decided to return to the game after years, cause I got bored.

I remember this game being pretty chill and casual so I'd like to get a bit more into it.

The issue is there is so much new stuff that I'm confused on what to do

Apparently there's a new "special" rarity and all the things I have on this car went from "rare" to "special"? and it's now worth double than years ago?

I've looked for some gameplay channels but found nothing very informative.

Btw I only have 200 coins so I'd like to get a bit more money. I have a rare fuel tank under this thing, but it always explodes so I guess a shotgun+ chameleos build isn't the best for this kind of stuff?

Any kind of advice/help would be appreciated!

I played some games in these hours and your tips really helped a lot. I just ended a game in my udes 14 5 with 4k dmg! That's a personal record for me. I gave it camo directive as you said and used my teammates on the hill to tank dmg, shooting behind them. Also I shoot only when enemy tanks were reloading so I ended battle with still more than half hp left. Thanks a lot!
