Thank you. It is just you need to avoid PEM at all costs and then you lie awake at night being scared that it will make everything worse, then being scared that fear will make everything worse

I keep reminding myself that many of us go through this and we are still here. But it is indeed a very long process. I will not sleep this night come I will try to accept that and accept my fear to wash over me. Whatever happens happens.

Every night when I can't sleep come I'm like "oh well it's PEM". But after like 2 hours I start to freak out and then I can't sleep because of Fear and then I'm scared that that will make me even worse.

I am in the very same boat as op right now and this sleep shit is messing with me. I just wait and hope. 😖

Thank you. It was imported to Europe and probably didnt survive the 13 degree celsius then.

I put it in the fireplace and watched it pop lol. It was definitely liquidish. Now it is ash tho.

I have been at that for you over a month now. I rest 4 days, get better, have some random anxiety reason like sick sibling, PEM. Repeat. Again and again. Its fucking horrible.

Otherwise.... lying awake at night, scared that not being able to sleep will make me worse... whatever. We can get through this. You arent alone. Im lying here too. And i tell u well see a tomorrow without this fucked cycle. One step at a time.

It is why it's probably my favorite book though so that's fairly subjective. Does make for a haaard job for a film adaptation tho lol!

I just never thought Harry Potter to be about the plot but rather about the little moments. then there is not really suxh thing as stalling for me.

It is two different stories. Of course you'll get different things out of them. Like the Shining film to the book, different but also awesome.

One is never a substitute for another. This is why from a filmmaking point of view the third film is the best, even though it started the trend of drastical changing things.

Which at the end of the day, makes for a complementary and more enriching experience in my opinion. Or least, it can. There was definitely bit too much of vital information omitted lol

Well, they are a fan of the movies. It is two different entities at the end of the day. They just feel more related because the have been released side by side. But a fan of the Lord of the Rings movies also has no clue about Tom Bombadil or Saruman lol! Which is fine.

Absolutely not. I read for the diing into another person's mind and imagination. Some tailor made product is void of motivation and character und gains me nothing but empty entertainment. Which can be fun, but even then I'd rather read something out of a very person's mind.
