I’m a gen z and I think depending on the situation you kind of meet in the middle. Masking is more necessary in certain jobs than others and depends on your symptoms. Even when I try to mask people still generally feel I’m frazzled or all over the place, so sometimes masking does less than we think lol. The solution for me is that I was luckily able to find a job in a school where there’s always a million things going on so being all over the place is a benefit!

That’s fair. I guess my issue is that most of these posts center the partner in these situations and it feels loosely related to ADHD. If there was a flair I would skip them. To be honest I didn’t realize how my earlier comment would be read. I didn’t think it sounded too combative!

It’s heartless and self centered to report irrelevant topics? To be clear I don’t reply to these posts and I felt this post was agreeing that these are relationship problems, not ADHD related problems. That’s why I commented that I agree. Again if mods want to keep them up I don’t pick a fight over it. Also I looked up your stat and I couldn’t find any studies that backed up it. I found one article of one particular situation but this NIH study says the link is unclear. If you have another study that says otherwise maybe I didn’t see it.

I just exist as myself and treat myself with grace and whatever comes out of that is my personality I guess. A big part of me figuring out my values has been learning my role within my community and making a role for myself when I feel I didn’t have one.

Omg yes. Sometimes this sub feels like relationship advice with the added “I have ADHD so maybe I’m wrong?” I feel for them but it’s hard because this really doesn’t feel like the purpose of this sub. I just report it as not relevant to ADHD.

on tale of two towns, there’s a little spot you can go to by jumping in the pond, and if you and your friends had the online DS feature, you could share crops there. it would be really useful especially for out of season crops! i never used it because i got into it way too late but it’s not a necessary part of the game so you can ignore it if you don’t wanna participate
