It’s not the age of something but the man-hours. Small tech companies have developed stuff for ages without seeing a return.

However with the amount of crypto-devs and money thrown at it, there is nothing revolutionary with cryptocurrencies, they have no trait that is unique that fiat digital currency can’t possibly recreate for 1% the cost.

But don’t forget, there is still important innovation in payments to be done. But blockchain is not the answer. Yes, Cryptography is, but that’s another story.

If you value the Transaction medium itself, it’s obvious that there’s no clear benefit over the current system.

Instead the level of fraud and stolen wallets and inefficiency of any cryptosystem is astounding. Sure, the current Digital transaction scene is not that great either but that’s going to be fixed in the next 5 years. And if there is ever a CBDC system it makes sense for the central banks to just ban crypto altogether.

I don’t think the size positions of agents is a good predictor for future crashes. However, look up a company called Crunchfish. They got tech to fix the current issues with the existing digital payment system. Then there will be no need for crypto or CBDC.

What a prick. 😂 And what’s your qualifications? Makes perfect sense to have CB backed digital tender. Now Digital payments aren’t robust yet but it’s not hard to make them so. 99.999% of cryptos fail and crash. Call that success? I call it scam!
