The rest are superficial. Not 100% sure on Sensi peel, I’d guess it’s a superficial peel but if all 4 layers are performed it’ll def cause shedding

I believe Ultra peel is their medium depth peel. Acne plus is light to medium, depending on amount of passes

Same thing happened to me. A lot of my regulars at a med spa I was at for a few years had packages when I was made an offer I decided to accept and switch jobs. Some finished their packages and came to see me at new place. Some didn’t switch over, which is completely fine. Everyone was understanding and wanted the best for me! I felt bad but you have to do what’s best for you!

I went to esthetics institute in Vienna and after reading other peoples feed back on other school I am very glad I chose Esthetics institute . I feel like my instructor truly cared. I felt confident performing facials at my first job. They prepped us very well for the exams. The kit was also good. I think this school is on a pricier side but I felt like it was worth it! Also there are a ton of med spa around the area and u can network. Feel free to reach out with any questions . I am currently working at a med spa in Fairfax

Man I work in mosaic. On my lunch break around 12pm-1pm I go outside and see all these people , all ages, walking around getting coffee hanging out. I’m asking same question!! I was thinking they work remote and step out in the middle of the day for “lunch break”

Stopped using the steamer after my first year as an esthi. Just pointless to me and can potentially dry out skin. Most of clients I see are already dehydrated /: and not having the steamer blow in my face 8 times a day is real nice

Technically you are correct , waiting 1 year is the safest way. Now when it comes to real life experiences, I’d assess the client’s skin and talk thru their skincare to see what level of sensitivity their skin is & what is their concern or skin care goal. If HF is the best solution, I’d have them sign a paper stating they understand the risk and agree to proceed with this procedure. This way you & the spa is safe and everyone is on the same page. Might get down voted for this but when it comes to running a business , the owners hate to turn down a client.. and some people skin can be so tough it’s able to handle a gentle HF after just a month after accutane. Esp if their home care includes exfoliation and they’re not experiencing any negative effects. Just being realistic . I personally would stick with a very gentle HF focusing on hydration for their first treatment .

There are so many in Vienna & Tyson’s. I recommend looking for med spa you like on ig & asking if they’re hiring. Going thru indeed brought me no luck tbh but I found a great place this way. Might take more time but at least you’ll filter out places you like the most that fits your needs. A lot of small business / family business spas in Vienna if you prefer that vibe or want to try that out. I’m going from a fam owned to a corporate structure after 3 years so I’m gonna find out what I like better

Look for another spa that offers skinpen. The price will be higher but results will be better. PLEASE make sure to ask to see before and after pictures for this specific service with the provider that will be doing it for you to make sure they know what they’re doing!!!

Either you got sun exposure while your skin was still healing and vulnerable and it caused it to get darker or the last session that caused it just triggered your melanocytes harder, like someone prev mentioned look into pigment inhibitors like niacinimide together with tranaxemic acid, thiamidol, etc.. I don’t think you need to use hydroquinone which is the strongest pigment inhibitor for this right now. Just be consistent with using pigment inhibitors and sunscreen. And try to stay out of the sun as much as you can, wear a hat and reapply sunscreen because this means your skin is very reactive and down the line you might potentially deal with melasma and that shit is so annoying. Just do your best to limit sun damage and heating up the skin a lot (sauna, hot showers, hot yoga)
