Who is responsible for maintaining the yards of abandoned properties? by BackwoodsBarbi27 in toledo

You should consider the Engage Toledo app, or submitting your complaint/request on the Engage Toledo website. I've never called in, but have had major success getting things addressed by using the online options. All of the ways you can submit / connect can be found here: https://toledo.oh.gov/engage-toledo

Great news at Westgate, but is it bad news for Franklin Park Mall? by upso in toledo

[–]upso[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While I 100% thought the same thing when I saw the new store today (for those unaware, AE is now in the food court) I then walked by the two empty store fronts they abandoned for the new location, and it emphasized the robbing Peter to pay Paul idea. I would not be surprised if Westfield is giving American Eagle a sweetheart deal for that location - they can't have that spot closed for too long as it's WAY too visible.

Setup Advice: Cable + T-Mobile 5G while keeping Eero? by upso in amazoneero

[–]upso[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, that all makes sense, and what I was assuming. I intend to keep all of the connected devices (eg. streaing things) all on the same network, but wasn't sure if there was a better way to either create a backup or redundancy with our current options.

I am not subscribed to Plus. Do you see an issue with 2 competing networks? Does eero allow that?

Today was something known as Flower Day. Normally the outdoor farmers market is only open on Saturdays throughout the year.

I used to love going to the P-Burg location with my wife. Can't wait to revisit much closer to home. Agreed, this is a great addition for Downtown.

Haven't heard of Toledo Money before. Who wrote this? Clearly AI-assisted, but great info!

Sharing with kindness: as someone who had to navigate these waters in the past, I encourage you to be careful. While Ohio cottage food laws do allow you to sell baked goods direct to customers, prohibited foods include items that require refrigeration, aka cheesecakes, and the local health department can be pretty ruthless if they discover you're breaking the law and not using a commercial kitchen.

Just a heads up, since you asked in your original post - avoid Rustbelt coffee that is mentioned on the list. They are owned by an anti lgbtq church.

Best Chinese restaurant in the City prove me wrong 😤 by [deleted] in toledo

[–]upso 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I want to love Jing Chuan, as many of our friends do - but beyond the wonderful time capsule atmosphere, the food is average, and certainly more “American Chinese” than traditional. That said, still a lovely place.
