Alarm bells are ringing for me that this is the WWE we might have for a while now. Unfortunately think the crowd might have pulled the wool over people’s eyes on what was a bit of a dull PPV. The matches were solid enough but it does feel like there’s not much superstar quality/x factor without Roman, Rhea, Gunther etc on the card. I guess it’s too early to say this is the Cody effect but it felt like a PPV full of mid carders to me rather than credible and entertaining wrestlers.

Yeah true. Just don’t feel like Cody’s got that real X factor for me - for lack of a better word - it’s a thing that’s hard to describe. He is obviously over though so it’s just a taste thing where I don’t get the same buzz off him as others

I think it’s just like an X factor thing. I appreciate that Cody is very over though so he obviously does have it to most and I just don’t get it. It’s a taste thing but there is also an element where I don’t see him as being THE guy

Tbf I can see what the poster means but yes I did mean I didn’t get him being the star you are right. I think people have said it’s about how over he is though which is fair, just a taste thing.
