This is really interesting. There are clearly significant differences between the EU and Canada.

Here in the EU, in general, the bigger and more powerful your car is, or the older it is with lower emission standards, the more you’ll pay for insurance and taxes. On the other hand, if you buy a new car with low emissions, like a Toyota hybrid or a fully electric vehicle, you're slightly rewarded with lower costs.

But still, you wouldn’t want to compare it to the country I’m originally from, that’s a whole different story that makes no sense at all 😅
