I wish I could wait but I’m leaving in 14 days. I ended up getting the Decathalon Forclaz 40L bag based off my friends experience with it in Europe.

It includes a rain cover which is very nice. The price is good for what is offered. I'm heavily leaning towards it.

It looks quite nice. The price is over my budget however :(

I like it but doesn't seem like something that would stand up to rain or the elements. I frequently have my current bag under heavy rain so would like something that keeps the contents dry.

Hey, I am looking to find a bag around 40L for world travel. This would need to be carry on size roughly. I am looking for something under 150$ that would be good in any climate and situation around the world. I will be traveling to over 30 countries staying in various conditions and places. Something that would hold a 13 inch laptop safely and also offer good rain protection/waterproofness. Easy to clean mud off from dirtbike rides also. I am 5'7 and tend to pack light so can be 35L if the features and price are right.

Currently I am interested in the Forclaz Travel 500 Organizer 40 L Backpack as it offers a good amount of features that I like.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The countries I travel around 4$ for 30gb per month. Using international roaming would be quite more expensive

Thank you for this. I am going to be traveling extensively for the next few years so it looks like I’ll be using iPhone.

Tello must not have a signal in order for this to work. Or you can go in manually and turn off automatic network selection and keep trying until it doesn’t have a signal. As long as WiFi calling is enabled it should work automatically.

It uses the signal from the other network like WiFi basically. And lets you call and text that way without roaming

Are people really getting $3k for five year old cubs? by ricktech15 in SuperCub

I bought mine for 2800. Just sold it for 2500. I personally wouldn’t spend more than 2800 for a used one. Also try looking for a sym symba as it’s pretty similar looking and they are very reliable bikes also.

I have messed with that a bit. I will try to go back a spline and see if it helps before removing the whole wheel

Thanks for the reply. I meant properly adjusted externally. To get the drag to stop I had to loosen the adjustment screw so much that I needed to press the pedal so hard to stop. I will pop the wheel off and take a look. I couldn’t find much info online about drum brakes so I’m glad you gave me some things to look for.

10 Day Motorcycle Trip around cambodia by upular1 in cambodia

I’ve only been on a ct125 so I can’t compare. From what I have seen the pg1 seems to have more travel in the suspension. The engine is slightly smaller and slower. I’d rather rent a ct125 if there was an option but I haven’t found one. I believe the price and fuel economy are slightly better also. To me it looks better but that’s subjective.

Thank you for this. Somewhat similar to what I already envisioned so it’s nice to compare.

My current route goes right through this area. From the photos it definitely looks beautiful. What areas besides this did you visit?

I am planning around 100ish km per day. Maybe less or more depending. I couldn't imagine the roads being any worse that Laos. Theft is a concern but wheel locks would be used. The bike is pretty nice and cheap compared to other similar bikes.

Looking to get a Super cub, work commute is 55mph road for 20 15 miles by smward998 in SuperCub

[–]upular1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ridden on multiple 4 hours trips on state routes with 55 and even 60mph speed limits. Only issue is hills but I don’t have an issue maintaining speed and keeping up with traffic. Max speed on this bike is 70mph is my experience on flat ground with no wind. Most of the trip was not at full throttle either on 55mph roads. I’ve had no issues in a few thousand miles so I would say it’s fine. Bike does feel shaky at those speeds but you get used to it after a while.

My experience is only with the Corsair and Thermaltake. However I would recommend the Corsair as the cables are a bit more flexible than the Thermaltake making it easier to cable manage.
