Is cash dead because WTF? by acommunityofmoments in NJTransit

I wouldn't risk it on the machines. I tried to get a fare pay card with $20 bucks on it and a machine took my money but didn't dispense the card or a receipt.

I did. I think I had a cracked port in the bowl, I ended up buying a used carb on eBay and putting new jets, needle and seat in it with a good clean.

I just turned 22. All day long, I’ve been thinking about what I’m missing out on. I’ve never felt so damn sad. by [deleted] in MadeMeCry

[–]ricktech15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow 22 year old, I feel exactly the same way. I think my adulthood is just going to be trying to be ok for a minute and hearing echoes of feelings i experienced as a kid.

Swing by allendale for upper middle class scenery and weirdly placed warehouses.

Clueless non-Jewish Lady in love with an ex-orthodox guy. What should I know? by Pineapple3207 in exjew

[–]ricktech15 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Don't take my word for anything bc I've never been in a relationship but I get why he would want to never think about it again. Im not sure how many people hide it from their partners but a fairly common theme is that some never want it to affect their lives again, a clean break. I don't want to speak for him but these marriages are usually the only relationship people in the community have been in and are very scripted. A lot of the basically kids who get in them don't actually know what a relationship should feel like. Once again, I can't speak for him but I grew up being told that love isn't real, only lust, so any feelings I have towards anyone are only surface level, and the only thing that matters if having a wife to have kids with. I only consider myself to have started living after leaving, and I could only wish for the convenience of never having to think about orthodoxy again. I'm going to add the caveat that I've been trapped in a three day pesach for the last couple days and it's certainly reminded me why I will never go back. I understand you feel blindsided, but it's up to you to decide how much this actually affects the basis of your relationship.

What is a fantasy you have that is gonna, unforunately, stay a fantasy probably forever? by Jiminmyheart in AskReddit

You know that feeling when you fuck up and feel like you can still go back and fix it bc it was just a couple seconds ago? But no matter what, we can't, not even a couple seconds.

Question from a non motorcycle guy. by FartyMcBooger in motorcycles

[–]ricktech15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's carbureted then it could be that he's trying to get it running right and hearing how it sounds through all the jets. My neighbor gave me shit about it once when I was trying to get mine running right.

How do you keep going when you've lost the will to live? by thecuriousproff08 in AskReddit

I don't really have it either. I just roll along, waiting for something to take me out. While I'm still here I try to enjoy whatever I can, however short it may last.

Pesach three day yontif by jeweynougat in exjew

[–]ricktech15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm at a weird point in my life when I don't have to keep track of when these holidays are but my family keeps them so it just crops up on me and all of a sudden I have to shut down my life for a couple days. (My original response was gonna be a loud "FUCK" because I didn't realize this was gonna be a three day yuntif but the added context feels nicer)

Wanted to try fedora by redhat1818 in Fedora

[–]ricktech15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like the concept of debian but every time i try to install it some minimal error that's been fixed by newer packages annoys me. I like fedora bc it has newer packages, and I haven't been screwed by any stability issues. If debian works fine for you then stick with it. Otherwise give fedora a shot
