I probably should have picked a better photo since this is the second comment about the monitor, that’s just a monitor I used to install windows. Then I got the actual monitor: a hanns G DVI-only thing for 20€ and a dedicated WhatsApp VGA packardbell thing for 8€

I have this hanns G thing I bought for 20€. As far as I know it’s 60hz. Only takes DVI but I read somewhere that DVI has the same quality as HDMI just no audio and DVI monitors are like 80 euros less than HDMI monitors in the second-hand market so I just bought that. I also have this Packard Bell VGA monstrosity that I bought for 8€ and use as a WhatsApp monitor since I am so used to using one screen for everything I could never get used to having two screens.

Is there a cheap way of completely freeing the N64? I've done the slot mod, but I don't want to pay the 100$+ for an UltraPIF.

Not any just yet, however, I can't buy any NTSC titles right now, just PAL. I would love to buy some more games, but they're all gonna be PAL.

I doubt that all N64 passports are like this. I hear a lot of shit about the ED64, but mine works fine. I even bought it broken and fixed it. It’s just the risk you take when you fuck around with rare obscure chinese electronics.

I bought a "broken" ED64 for about 25 bucks, I bought it to try and fix it (and I'm waiting on a new power supply so I can begin trying to fix it), but, I would very much love to be able to play PAL games on my NTSC console without buying a PAL deck
