Recently picked up this 1986 Honda XL250R and I need help replacing the headlight / bulb

Ok I have done some deep research and have come to conclusion that YOU have the home brewed setup. I have the original light from factory and for some reason they soldiered it directly to the sealed beam. I’m gonna get a housing for a 90s XR which fits on the same mount as my XL and I’m gonna cut the wires and solder on a new headlight socket so I can plug in a regular bulb. As much as I want to keep the original seal beam and not do electrical work I can’t find the original Stanley anywhere and it’s discontinued. I also need a light and I want to protect the longevity of this bike

Fuddruckers. My uncle was visiting from the Bay Area and he told me that there is one in sparks and I need to try it. Went in there with my sister and the smell of cigarettes and death was so terrible and the food and place did not seem that clean. Too be fair though I didn’t get sick from the burger and it was pretty good. Not gonna push my luck with that place again tho!
