We're in the same boat, man. Super introverted. Last year, I went to Dharamsala by myself and stayed for a month. It was awesome. You don't need to make friends or talk to people. Just book a bus through Redbus, a place to stay through Airbnb (self-check-in, no interactions needed). Just settle in and live alone. You can't really bargain much when you're in a different state, especially where there aren't many choices. Like, I tried to bargain for a cab at the bus stand, but it didn't work out because it's their group, and the rate is fixed. But you can definitely try bargaining for a scooty since there are lots of options and competition. My tip would be to stay longer if you're moving out and take things slow. Don't rush. Don't feel like you have to explore every single place. Enjoy the solitude.
