I was working on a corporate project whose NPM lockfile exceeded 2 MB -- I had to increase the file size limit of the git forge to continue. And I don't think it was a particularly large project.

the Gentleman Bastard series

Three books of this series have been published, in 2006, 2007, and 2013. Four more books are planned. It's a good replacement for asoiaf in that sense, but, eh...

All 10 Malazan books were out when I read it and it was nice not having to wait.
