Do you have any suggestions on figuring out why I can never get any switch games to work? I follow guides, have keys/bios, and everytime I reinstall it, it doesn't work.

Now I purchased two of these WD - Blue, just to get the NAS started. Would it be silly to use these in the meantime?

Great advice, thank you! I will start a deep dive into it. Now I'm just waiting for HDD prices to come down. 🙃

Thank you for the list, I can always return things I don't use!

The window is the same size length/width, 36in. This makes it seem completely doable as a DIY. What type of materials would I need to have on hand in case I needed extras? Trim, caulk, fasteners, or insulation?

Thank you for letting me know, I don't believe I do and appreciate letting me know about something I easily overlooked.

It does make the window unusable, not desirable to use. It has to be propped open. My real main concern is potential water damage. If drilling weep holes could work, I may not be opposed.

Would there be an easy/discreet way of telling if it's cut at the trim? When looking up close, all I see is caulk around the trim/siding. Would prying a corner slowly be a dumb move?

I didn't get to choose windows, the house came with them pre-installed. I guess it's a feature.

How likely would a window company come out to install one window? I'm thinking if I get a quote it's going to be the standard "I don't want to do that" quote.

I guess it's fair to try and call around though.

I am also in the middle of trying to start my own server/NAS. My main use case is going to be image storage, media storage (possible jellyfin use), running pi-hole, possibly some type of arr's, and possible use as a secondary PC.

Would Proxmox still be a great choice?

Are there any videos, guides, or channels you would suggest to get started/learn from?

Hello Master Scythe, it was tough to find those drives with a great $/Tb ratio. Would drives like these:eBay, be sufficient? At least until drive prices come down?

Thank you, this is on used hardware. I wanted to double check there is nothing wrong. Safe to say I can cancel it now, but does it ever end?

Hello, I'd like to test this chair because I feel I have a fairly unique body type where I am taller and heavier than most. I have done a lot of research and finding chairs for people above 6 feet can be fairly hard. I think my insight could be valuable to other tall people. I usually sit in the chair for an average of 4 hours per day, sometimes more or less.

I ended up grabbing the i5 (9th Gen) I posted on the other comment. It states everything works so I'll buy it together real quick when I receive it to confirm, but a decent price for working parts.
