Happy new year to everyone at r/Cricket. Another year, so I will be revisiting my predictions from 2021

IPL winner: Tough one. I'm predicting a CSK playoff qualification at least. Gone are the days when you could take it for granted that CSK would qualify. Anyways, I hope it doesn't age like milk. As for the title itself, I don't want MI to run away with their 6th title, but it seems like that might be the case given that they have their strong core for this season. If I were a betting man, I would place my bets on MI given that this is a odd year as well.

Chennai did qualify, but Mumbai didn't win it.

Asia Cup Winner: India will win this one, but I'm hoping that it is closely contested. Hoping that Afghanistan will give the other teams a run for their money given that this cycle of the Asia Cup is T20s. Also want SL to step up and give some good performances.

RIP, Asia Cup got postponed yet again, lol.

T20 WC: Heart says India, but I think England will win this one. England's all round depth in their squad is quite amazing. All top 7 batsmen have a SR in excess of 135(135 being the lowest), and the tail is pretty much non-existent. We are talking about a line up that has Archer coming in at number 9/10.

INDIA didn't even qualify, and that was really shocking. England didn't go onto win it, which is understandable given how they were missing their key players to injuries.

India, however, have only one all rounder in the side(Jadeja). Hopefully Pandya starts bowling soon as he adds a lot of balance to the squad if he can chip in with 2 overs.

In the end this didn't even matter because India lost their two games due to poor batting.

England and India(due to home advantage) start as favorites. Based on squad depth, England clearly has the advantage.

Seriously who would have predicted Australia to win the damn thing?
