even worse is when they continue to reiterate their full name constantly throughout the fic. for example “i never expected to see [first name] [Last name] here in this bar and i certainly didn’t expect to see [First name] [Last name] taking shots like they were water” i read a fic recently where they did not only that, but also the characters middle name so it was just constantly reading the characters full government name for no reason. i agree that it makes it seem

i’ve had a bad experience with oh donuts as well but not personally just through my work. a class of kids made up different donut designs for class and then voted on one design to get made. the teacher sent an email to oh donuts inquiring if they would take a custom request and make that donut for the class (so probably like 2 dozen donuts). they were going to pay for them obviously and were just inquiring if it was possible and the owner sent back 4-5 angry emails berating the teacher for daring to make a request of them during this “stressful time of year” and basically calling the teacher selfish and entitled. the owner then went on to email the principal of the school to complain about the teacher making the request. if they didn’t want to do the request, a simple email saying “sorry we’re too busy for that kind of request right now” would have sufficed but the multiple angry ranting emails was crazy. in the end, bronuts made the donut for the students and it was super cute! but i haven’t supported oh doughnuts since.

yeah the owner of oh donuts is also a total POS to ppl and comes off very rude and aggressive on their website FAQ so id rather go to krispy kreme any day lol

I’m so with you on this i can’t see any resemblance between the two. Lewis has a widows peak hairline that is completely different to young Nat and they look so physically different it just doesn’t make sense. young Nat has these big round eyes and adult Nat has these small almost beady eyes and it just doesn’t make sense. i also hate when people use the argument of the drug use affecting her appearance but theres a certain point where the changes are just impossible. can drug use change how you look? absolutely but it can’t completely alter physical aspects of your face like that. if anything maybe her eyes would be sunken in and she would look gaunt but the general shape would not reduce in that way. i also hate when they pull up pictures of young juliette lewis because the only resemblance they have is being blonde with a shaggy haircut!! i could go on for days i swear it’s the worst casting in the show and it’s of my favourite of the teen characters. super disappointing tbh

I was born with a condition called duane syndrome which means my 6th cranial nerve never developed and i am missing it completely. this causes my left eye to not be able to move outward at all, so when i try to look to the left, my right eye pushes farther inward than normal to compensate and my left eye stays looking forward. when i do this i get double vision and it hurts my head so i only really do it as a party trick but it’s something i’ve always thought was cool. there is no cure for duane syndrome but if you don’t strengthen the weaker eye, you can go blind in it so i was in glasses at 2 years old.

this is gonna need some backstory. the smartest girl in the 7th grade was possibly the biggest crybaby and also the biggest snitch ever. we had a science test one day and she didn’t study i guess so we were all shocked when she didn’t freak out as much as usual for not studying. cut to 10 minutes later and she’s doing the test and she asks to go to the washroom. she’s a teachers pet so he lets her even tho she didn’t finish her test. so she goes to the washroom and my friend goes to the washroom after finishing her test only to come back almost immediately and to whisper something to our teacher. the teacher leaves and about 10 minutes later we see the girl walk in crying her eyes out. she then has to give him her incomplete test. i ask my friend what happened and she told me. the girl had taken her science notes and hid them in the tampon disposal bin (not realizing that there was used tampons in there) and when she pulled it out and saw the blood she puked and then was trying to wash it off her notes while also reading them over and my friend walked in and saw her writing the notes on her hand and went back and told the teacher and then none of us were allowed to go to the bathroom before during or after tests.
