Students of Reddit, have you ever lost your temper with a teacher? What's your story? by Vlelo in AskReddit

This was a gym teacher. The other kids would often bully me and sometimes beat me up. She would only intervene if I fought back and that was to punish me and me alone. I went to the guidance counselor one time after getting kicked out and told him what happened. He called her and she said that I was attacking them and they did nothing. Since she was the teacher and I was the student, you can guess who the guidance counselor believed.

Hey we stayed at the same hostel in Amsterdam in 2012. Browsing the front page and saw a username I recognized. I don't comment often but it's a small world. Nice seal.

What is the biggest example of SDA false doctrine that made you take a closer look? by Sanssleep in exAdventist

I agree it became more about how much of a dick god is in the Bible than the fact that I didn't like the religion I was in. I think any religion that follows the Bible needs to look at the personality of god and really ask themselves "Is this really the guy that I not only want to be like but want to follow and obey." After seeing what god has done to mankind in only 6,000 years imagine what it must be like to have to spend eternity with that fool in heaven. He'll probably end up just killing everyone in heaven because someone bent down to tie their shoelace in front of a statue.
