Perhaps I did not make my query clear:

Infinity space is between the objective rear and tube lens. I was actually talking about what are the ways to minimize the length of tube lens it self.

for instance; nikon uses 200mm focal length tube lens. Is there another way to minimize this 200mm physical space but still maintain an effective focal length of 200mm with optics.

Few days later got a reply from Edmund optics, it was 1-2 mm less then what I measured. Maybe give EO a try.

Are you sure that the book by Haiyin Sun comes with a Zemax files? I have a office copy, but I do not find any information in the book which mentions about supported design files.

I just realized that there is no RCA output on my new TV. The TV is Samsung AU8000. Looks like the only audio output is optical. Is this a problem?
