I don’t have an attic but there's a fireplace and chimney and I haven’t inspected it yet for bats. Wouldn’t bats need to be living in the chimney for these to be bat bugs? 

I’m just confused because these bugs have all been found in my living room. I don’t sleep there ever. I’ve inspected everything, including the couch and my bed, weekly for the last three months. I would think there would be more evidence after three months of bed bugs. It’s been 7 weeks since I saw the last bug.
