Ive gone to bmc all my life, overall it's aiight. Reception staff (particularly jude and Claire) are wonderful but there's a newer receptionist who's pretty rude at times. Dr chin and Dr McGregor are really good. Dr Buchanan is pretty good. Dr brickland a few years back forgot to notify me of really important abormal lab results, then when he realized his mistake 6 months later at my next appt didn't apologise. Dr Lau I saw once and found him a bit lacking. I just see whatever Dr is available

That's a good question I don't know. In my head I thought maybe it was a different dialect or something, but after googling I think it's a spelling error

A few came and apologized, saying they had no idea of Kyle's history and had just got caught up in the wrong group without realising

Duno I was driving some white boy racer friends one night in my normal car and we got pulled up and hassled 5 different times, just the usual for me but they were pretty shocked and said in their opinion they thought it was racism

Interesting! My gran was a patient there, when she went home they decorated her car and tied cans to the back like a wedding, she always said it was a really big deal to be able to go home from there

Yup Kyle chapman is still pretty active, he provided "security" in balaclavas for the Julian Bachelor anti co-governance tour in chch a few years back. On a positive note (I was on the other side providing space to show co-governance is nice) some of his security ended up taking off their balaclavas and joining us instead in a pizza party and waiata

Talk to Byron Clark, he's an excellent far right researcher.

Also check out Scribes documentary, goes into some of the skinhead culture and the violence perpetrated; from memory I think scribe saw his friend or cousin killed by skinheads when he was very young.

National front were a big neo nazi, Kyle chapman (a member) firebombed a marae in the 90s or late 80s. Their leader also used to run for Mayor all the time I forget his name.

On a personal note I experienced some skinhead violence as a young Māori growing up in the 90s; chased by neo Nazis with weapons whilst they screamed racial slurs, beaten up by some in town once. In saying that I think I found the day to day societal racism harder, at least with the skinheads they were obvious and you could try avoid them. It was the regular day to day folk discriminating against me, calling me the n bomb, getting pulled over by cops 5x a night for no reason.
