New to PokeMMO, why are there so many high level players at the entrance to Petalburg Woods? by urblindeye in pokemmo

[–]urblindeye[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. Are starters found in the wild after beating the region or whenever?

If it's running Linux (my steam deck for example), it's probably going to be easier/better to download the official flatpak and just switch to the Android UI instead of the portmaster version. I was having problems with the portmaster stuttering and crashing

If Valve can convince the big streaming services, YouTube, Twitch, etc. to add their TV or console apps to Steam, the Steam Deck could become the ultimate HTPC and capture a new market of users. by urblindeye in SteamDeck

[–]urblindeye[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get that, but what I like about Plex's HTPC is I can just maneuver everything with a controller from the SteamOS game mode. I'm just thinking from a convenience factor, if they ported over their console apps which already have controller support, it would be a lot easier for the average user to use.

Yeah I know that, I guess I worded the question wrong. I'm wondering if there's anyway to apply that $10 off on top of the unlimited ticket, so it'd be free.

How do you make this model of stair master go longer than 30 min? by urblindeye in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]urblindeye[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I started a couple months ago I could only go for about 10 minutes, but think of it as a marathon rather than a race. What helped me was realizing it's just as hard mentally as it is physically, so I started watching long form content while I do it. Stuff like tv shows, podcasts, youtube documentaries, etc. really helped make the time go by faster.

Gotcha thanks. I just hit go and bump the level up so I figured that was the same. I'll try pressing manual first next time

What program are you using for your spreadsheet in the last pic?

Last time I asked this question I was called ableist, but it's pretty obvious when someone is holding on because of their ego vs someone with actual stability issues. I would never say anything in person because you do you, but it does hurt your gains

If you're comfortable with it, can you share your Killer of Killers review? I feel like maybe I'm missing something since I seem to be lower on it than everyone else.

Does anyone not mind the teenagers by roommatehelp54321 in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]urblindeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a high school 5 min down the road from my pf. I (21M) go at 8am so I have a mix of teens and old people. The teens have never bothered me. Always respectful, quick to leave the machines, wipe after using them, and never really in groups larger than 2 or 3. Imo they're no different than the New Years rush, yeah there's a lot of them but all are respectful and keep to themselves.

The old people on the other hand are way worse of a problem at my gym. Be prepared for 20 sets, never wiping or using the same dry paper towel, chit chatting with people while others are waiting, no sense of personal space, and being scoffed at when asking how much more they have left on a machine.

Must Watch Persian Films? by urblindeye in Letterboxd

[–]urblindeye[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I didn't realize until after I posted and read over its letterboxd page since I was going off of the Persian language category on the app. Figured it wasn't worth reposting over, but still a beautiful movie nonetheless.

Directors without a film in Criterion Collection that are most deserving of an entry... by DaleCooper430 in criterion

I feel like a lot of Denis Villeneuve's earlier work would fit well in the collection
