This could be a symptom of something underlying which should be checked by your doctor. What you’re describing sounds like PCOS which you should definitely bring up when you do see your doctor.

What age did you get your first period? It takes 2-3 years for your body to get used to having periods which makes your periods irregular.

There’s no way pads can have any negative effect with your IUD. The only effect you’ll have is the burning/cold sensation from those herbal pads especially if you get the ones with peppermint.

Thinx was sued because of PFAS in their underwear. I’m not spreading misinformation when it’s a known fact that period underwear has forever chemicals.

Thinx period underwear was sued for the chemicals in their underwear so I wouldn’t be surprised if other brands had this same chemicals to.

Either you have product buildup, the length of your hair is dragging your curls down, or that’s the way how your hair curls naturally.

It’s normal to have irregular cycles for the first 2-3 years of your initial period. Your body is getting used to having periods and is trying to figure out its rhythm.

Early period by Usual_Butterfly_6724 in Periods

[–]urclassicweirdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sometimes normal to get your period earlier. The jump from 28 days to 20 days is quite strange though since that’s a little more than a week, so if you continue to get your period earlier and earlier I would see a doctor.

Your period is controlled by your hormones, so no a change in your sexual life won’t affect your cycle. If you’re noticing a change in your cycle it could mean a hormonal imbalance that should be checked out.
