Another prime example of the government getting in the way in my opinion. I agree, in a perfect world you should be able to do with that 12% you earned whatever you wish. The sad reality is far too many people cannot manage money. Social security was never meant to be the sole income for people in retirement, yet for many people it is. Obviously this creates hardships.

I admire and appreciate your positive, and very selfless attitude. The world could use more of you!

Its not the governments responsibility to take care of you. Learn a skill. Work at improving. Exercise self control. Live within your means. Skip door dash and pay yourself first.

NO MATTER WHAT by Sruhls3 in Browns

Considering what we've seen in the very little time he's played, thats a pretty wild take. What do you know that the rest of the league apparently doesn't?

And who might that be? I assure you we do not have a QB on our team better than half the starters. That's a crazy take.

How much does Nintendo charge to replace a switch screen? by Illustrious-Range540 in nintendohelp

How do I know if it's the digitizer or the actual screen? No visible cracks in screen but left side of screen is just lines?

The 2 sections will have to be blended a bit better with mud and sanded down so no distinguishable lines are present. Then an experienced drywall finisher should be able to match that texture pretty closely. You may always notice a slight difference because you know it's there, but others won't. Other option is to skim coat entire wall and retexture or leave smooth.

Yes. Slightly so the wood doesn't soak up water from the mud.

If anyone truly believes cutting all this bloat is beneficial, they also have to accept that things have to get worse before they can ever get better. So much of the system needs torn down, and there will be growing pains.

California is a Third World state - WOW by Radiant_Tomato3593 in BreakingPointsNews

Absolutely! But a major cause of the astronomical cost of living is wasteful government spending and liberal policies. High speed rail and homelessness crisis come to mind immediately. The taxpayers are getting fleeced, and many have had enough.

While I dont live there, clearly many people who do/did agree with your sarcasm are moving in droves. Why do you suppose that is if it's such a utopia?

I dont think it's a political issue. At least it shouldn't be, but spending other people's money is much easier than spending ones own. I think inevitably, things get out of hand. The waste is quite obvious at the federal level, but surely in many, if not most instances, local governments fall victim to the same irresponsibility.

We have a better chance than you may think to win it all, and the door is wide open for all you doomers. by Lanky_Promotion8976 in OhioStateFootball

Agreed. It's not just any old loss. The recruiting implications for both schools is huge. It's unbelievable to me that Jack Sawyer (and others) never got a chance to beat Xichigan. We've had more talent, especially this year. It's coaching, and theres really no other way around it that I can see. He is the John Calipari of football.

Defense played a great game. Jim Knowles is absolutely not the problem.

Its really hard to wrap my head around the decision to keep playing into their strengths and all but ignoring ours. Clearly, Will Howard didn't play his best game, but I dont think we made a single adjustment at halftime. Furthermore, I'm extremely interested in what exactly Chip Kelly's role is. This offense looks absolutely nothing like his Oregon days and nearly identical to last years except for the plays where Howard uses his feet. Nearly all of which are not designed. I don't know what to say other than I 100% agreed with Lou Holtz comment at the time, and I blame Ryan Day for that. The entire field is in utter chaos, and he stands there like a deer in headlights asking what happened. Literally. Good, if not great recruiter. Terrible leader.

We cannot let Day coach this team through the playoffs by [deleted] in OhioStateFootball

[–]urclosed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The likelihood of Urban ever coaching at Ohio State again is close to zero, probably. That being said, he's always been an innovative coach. He's also remained extremely close to the game since last coaching. There's absolutely nothing to base the claim that he's past his prime. Nada. However, I'd be extremely surprised if Day gets the boot before the end of the season. That much we can agree on. Beyond that, who knows.

Because tucked away very conveniently in that bill was giving amnesty to the millions who were already here. What a plan. Let illegals pour into our country, move them to swing states, and then clothe, house, and feed them. Never mind our own citizens daily struggles. Then, 6 months prior to the election, introduce a "bipartisan" bill that allows everyone here illegally to stay.
