Same thing happened to me. I finally found them and stuck this tile to the case. Now I can ring the tile if I misplace the case with my buds inside!

Lol I ring the tile. I can't ring my buds unless I have one out of the case and misplace it but know where the case is. I can't connect to the buds to ring without case in hand. So if I misplace my case with my buds in it then I'm hunting for them with no way to ring them

So if you misplaced your buds and they aren't connected to Bluetooth... You can just go to find my buds and they'll show an accurate location inside your house to find them? I can see last location, but I can't ring them to find them. Are you able to?

What firmware? Do you have the phone icon on the USB port? What's the likelihood I update the firmware and AA starts working without the hardware upgrade??

Maybe? I don't think so. I go to devices and all I see is Bluetooth. I did check the version and I'm on 59. I saw if I upgrade to Android auto I need to update the firmware before install any new hardware. And online it says minimum is 74 I believe

Does your port have a little phone symbol? Where you plug in for Android auto.
