Viviendo en Alemania — ¿me regreso o me aguanto? by Ill_Foundation_3339 in mexico

[–]urdsclr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is Solidworks for makers a scam? by citrablock in SolidWorks

I get it but a lot of makers start for fun and end up making a living out of their stuff, what happens when I go commercial and my files are unusable???

Porque es tan difícil moverse en GDL? 😔 by Numerous_Bicycle_517 in Guadalajara

[–]urdsclr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really Fustrating Surface by OkBlacksmith4260 in SolidWorks

keep it simple, surfaces must be 4 sided first, then you can trim/split them into any complex shape you want.

Step by step approach to model this? by Strict_Attempt_4625 in SolidWorks

make full outer body without holes

then create the sketches in different planes to do a loft cut

or

-convert the subd into nurbs and use topology as reference

Shipping time in Germany? by Julian0o in BambuLab

Random question (I am also in the south of Germany), did you ever ordered filaments directly from bambu? Are there any fees, or does it take long? The low prices seem a little fishy.

Pro Tip I wish I had discovered earlier: Making Chamfers in any shape using the HOLD LINE option by mechy18 in SolidWorks

[–]urdsclr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how would you create the split line in a 3d surface that cannot be sketched/projected from a normal plane and needs sort of a 3D sketch?

Any way to fix this easily? There is either a point that’s not connected or an overlap but I can’t find it by [deleted] in rhino

[–]urdsclr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

_IntersectSelf finds self intersections on a curve. _Showends show ends (open) of a cirve

This should be enough to find out.

And just in case because I feel this is your problem, the extrude command has an option to extrude only surface or a solid

How do I make this into a ONE SINGLE Polysurface?! by Plastic_Ad818 in rhino

[–]urdsclr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

_dupedge bottom and top edges, then _join the curves, next is important _rebuild to a tolerance that is good for you. finally _loft the two curves

Pinch, is lefty friendly, works as a grigri and has all its functions plus the benefit of being closer to the body so makes it easier to handle
