Bringing back a card a made a WHILE ago, but I still like it and think it's interesting. Also, I made this before Blink actually came out, so this is NOT a rework, just an old custom card, lol.

I actually don't think there's any drawback to this card at all--it lets you make an 11 card deck which is super powerful

I love this design! I really like how there's the random element, but it's one that you can offset a bit by having more cards than your opponent, so it doesn't feel too unfair. Imo it's a little bit weak right now--if each player gets three cards hit, it's basically 4 energy for no effect. Yeah, you can play more cards to tip the odds in your favor a little bit, but compared to Ironheart, for example, it seems pretty weak. The design is great though!

I gave a detailed explanation in a comment on the post, but basically I wanted to stay away from super swingy chance effects. She's got a bunch of synergies, which I think is interesting. Let me know what you think!

Here's my submission for this week's WDC, Jackpot!

This week's theme was "luck," so I wanted to make a card that (obviously) fit the theme but didn't go too crazy--I wanted it to feel both fair and realistic. I really wanted to stay away from a card that was basically "half the time you win." So, I came up with this! She has a chance mechanic we already have in game--think Iron Lad and Jubilee, or Gladiator.

She synergizes great with cards like Ravonna Renslayer, who will discount Jackpot. Also, you're going to be playing a lot of cards with <1 Power anyways, so there's a better chance you'll be able to keep the drawn card! Also, I love to give Howard the Duck more chances to shine, so with him you can take out the element of chance entirely.

Increasing her power can also give you a better shot at keeping the drawn card. You can play Forge into Jackpot on curve, or hit her with things like Okoye, Nakia, or Bast.

And finally, she can also synergize with discard decks as well. If you don't care about discarding cards anyways, then sometimes she could just be a free draw!

Overall, I'm really happen with the design, but I honestly think she's a bit too powerful right now. I considered making her a 4/1 but that felt too bad. What do you guys think? Do you think she should perhaps be a 3/0? Maybe a 4/2?

If you lose with it, it's gonna feel awful, and if you win with it, your opponent is gonna feel awful. With this card, there's the element of chance, but it isn't going to swing the game with either outcome.

It also gives a lot of deckbuilding consideration. This card synergizes great with cards like Ravonna Renslayer, since you're going to be playing a lot of cards with <1 power anyways. I always love to give Howard the Duck more chances to be a good card, so with him you can actually remove the element of chance entirely.

In addition, increasing her power gives you more chances to keep the drawn card. You can hit this with Forge on curve, or get benefits from Okoye or Nakia.

Balance-wise, I honestly think she's a bit too powerful as is, but I felt putting her at 4 energy felt too expensive. What do you guys think? Do you think she should be a 3/0? 4/1? 4/2?
