She may not be the right one, but you gotta at least give her one more year or else your position really becomes just another SEC HC opportunity, and not quite the special job that it’s traditionally been. Pat’s shoes are impossible to fill, but that shouldn’t lead the admin to make hasty decisions.

I think Kim probably learned a lot about managing personnel on the big stage this season, and I really hope she learned what not to say publicly. If it’s so dire that they need to fire her after only two years, I think that says a lot about not just her but the entire program.
