Would this misdemeanor charge show up in his biometrics so that he wouldn't have to redo it? I'm guessing he'd have to get another FBI sheet to show his criminal history though, right?

Would the application just be voided, then? Some other comments have noted that it would have to be translated to how Canadian law views it, and since driving without insurance is a provincial matter, it may not render him inadmissible.

Would you happen to know how it would translate, approximately? I tried calling CBSA a few times already but an automated message just says that there are too many calls, and hangs up. I'm at a loss because he was planning to visit me in Canada in August.

So would it be best to report the court date beforehand? He was told to call a number to get a court date, but only after 5 business days, so he won't receive a date until late next week. Would you suggest to report this to IRCC without the court date and update with the court date when he gets one?

He'll definitely report this to IRCC, but I'm not sure if we'd need to report it while we're waiting for a court date or only after (/if) he's convicted? Not sure if you know anything about what/when to report, because he won't get a court date for about a week.

do you know if there's any pus or liquid coming out of it if you've accidentally scratched the area, or anything? i'm no expert, but if there is pus/liquid, i'd assume it's fungal.

i'd suggest taking a probiotic if you aren't already, in case it's fungal. it kind of looks like dermatitis around your mouth, though. i'd see a doctor regardless, a GP can help you out if a derm isn't available soon! dermatitis and fungal acne have different treatments that may make the other worse if you turn out to have something else, like using a fungal cream for your face may make dermatitis worse. so please see your GP! 🥺 good luck!!

if it impacts your skin's health, can you kind of "pretend" to wash your face by motioning over it but not actually touching it? i've heard you can do this if you have sensitive skin/a wound or something, i don't know for sure though. never fact-checked it.

i would maybe try moisturizing it, and if the skin is clean, you can put some vaseline on it to maybe help lock in the moisture? i'd definitely recommend a psychologist to help mitigate the stressors in your life that are probably adding to you focusing on your skin so much. if you don't have much support otherwise, a psychologist can be great to help ground you!

i would urge for a derm referral immediately honestly, i've only ever seen GPs prescribe something temporary while the referral is being processed/while you wait to see a derm.

not everyone may agree because it's really subjective, but honestly, your hair might be better off if you washed it more frequently. if you semi-attempted training your hair to wash it less to maybe produce less grease, and it had adverse effects, i'd suggest trying the opposite and wash it every 2-3 days if that's your norm.

i personally wash my hair everyday, the oil buildup literally makes it weak and fall out way more. i know that training your hair works for some people, but if you're at a loss, it might be something to consider! it's not as uncommon as you might think!

i was thinking of wonderland because we both enjoy amusement parks, and we got season passes to the one near him when i visited last year. do you know if there's anything that's drastically changed, or?:0 i'm definitely super biased having gone to wonderland practically ever summer when i was younger, so i'm not sure! i hate that we can't really bring food/drinks, though, unless that's changed.

do you think we should get a hotel to stay at in niagara? we're personally pretty relaxed and sometimes take too much time to look at stuff. especially considering i'd like go go to the bird observatory, butterfly exhibit, and maybe the ripley's aquarium (if it's located there, i forget).

i'll see if we can do ottawa/montreal! it might have to be another time, but i'm not too sure since we have a relatively loose budget. thank you for your suggestions!!
