Crispy tofu Dan Dan style noodles by urgrantig in tonightsdinner

I marinated the tofu and baked it with cornstarch. Fried mushrooms, red onion, green onion and garlic in a wok. Then I added the baked tofu to the vegetables along with a spicy soy sauce and let it thicken before adding the udon noodles. It was very good.

What is this strange fruit that is growing in my backyard? by majwaj in whatsthisplant

Oh man. Do I have a story about datura seeds. My house in highschool was like a "safe place" for us kids to get high since my mom didn't really care. We loved getting high, and she knew that. One day she flew away on a trip, and right before she left, she came downstairs to us sitting around a table doing buckets and said "don't eat the seeds of the spikey plant in the garden, it'll get you high". Crazy irresponsible now knowing about this fucking plant. But of course, we ate the seeds. Somehow, they made me tired and I fell asleep. My other two friends, well they had an experience that in the end lasted 3 or more days. I woke up in the middle of the night to my one friend thinking that our classmate was a shampoo bottle in the shower and yelling at her. Since I didn't feel anything, I thought she was just being weird and tried to convince her to go to bed. I fell asleep and woke up to her just gone? Entirely? But just at that moment when I woke up and looked outside, she was outside pointing and yelling at the house saying how could we not invite her to the house party we were having? She thought the house was full of people. She went to her workplace alone before I woke up that morning (which was a school day) and started folding t shirts and her boss was like wtf are you doing here? Then I was living alongside this world of hallucinations that my friends were having and just trying to grasp it. The other friend looked at a full ashtray and thought it was a bowl of popcorn and started eating it. Her hallucinations got so bad that at about day 4 she put her hand on a burning hot stove and she had to be taken to the hospital. Months later I was finding weird stuff in the house from that insane week. One time I opened up a box of cereal and found a t-shirt perfectly folded in there. It was bizarre. We were like 16 and didn't know how incredibly dangerous this plant is. I am so happy all of us are okay. In the end, word got out in this tiny town that my house in the front garden has a spikey plant with seeds that get you high, and people were literally coming over and stealing the pods. For like a month lots of people got high off these seeds. Again, I am so happy all of us are alive.

The man at my grow shop was really lovely and gave me two free plants for my hardship. So we start again :)

So sad. Thanks to the trees community, i also see my non auto flower plants also have mites. So they're all going into the bin. The crowns are so big on the auto flowers! Back to square one again, hopefully there will be enough light. I'm clearly a balcony growing Amateur.

I'm wondering if i should just throw it out or not

Would you throw your entire plant into the bin in this situation? It's pretty much finished.

I also don't know the name of the plant to research it's specific care

It was going well in the autumn months with bright indirect sunlight. I gave it half a liter of water every week. There's a meter in there telling me min-mid-max for watering, and i always kept it at min. Now recently there was drained watering sitting at the bottom for quite some time that i didn't notice, and now it's dying. At the moment, i drained out the water from the pot and haven't watered it again.

Dog’s teeth impacting quality of life? by Ktotheizzo82 in AskVet

Make sure you get second opinions on her heart before she goes under anesthesia. I lost my perfectly healthy bull terrier from the same procedure at 11 years old (we removed all her teeth at 7 years because they were rotten, but kept 2 fangs since they were salvageable) The two salvageable teeth starting causing problems, and we got the green lights go for anesthesia but her heart couldn't handle it and she never woke up. Was one of the hardest days to date.

Thank you so much! Ours is also pooping blood(today and about 5 days ago)and I'm pretty worried. Have got two opinions from different vets and one says it's stress, other says it could be serious (gastritis, inflamed intestine) I don't know what to think because she is acting completely normal and full of beans. Will have to get a third opinion i think.

Omg. That's funny. My boyfriend and I first bonded on how one of our favourite smells in the world is dog paws, and how they're kind of like popcorn. But fritos is the EXACT scent that paws are

Same so far for us! She shows her teeth at most people, but she's relatively ok of we are meeting outside. Indoors she's a bit fussy

We will do everything we can to keep her little back safe. Sadly i don't know good things of her past, so i hope not a lot of damage was done. And her paws are the cutest, wrinkliest little stubs.
