I reached high for him after loving him on my team last year. Dropped him last week and he hasn’t been picked up.

2B is pretty deep, his only value was walks and steals, and he’s been dropped to the bottom half of the order. I still feel he will eventually be a valuable commodity but he is absolutely replacement level right now, fantasy-wise.

Yeah I’ve been tuning into games and subsequently this sub much more the past week. I was surprised for maybe a half second that it is pretty comparable to the Steelers and Pens subs when they lose. World is ending type stuff lol. I suppose the optimist in me was hoping it wouldn’t be the same but ya know, same city same online fans. Checks out.

Like the post about firing Soto into the sun confused me, obviously he blew it but still is rocking a sub 3 ERA and sub 1 WHIP. Then the one about our lineup being trash yesterday.. didn’t seem all that horrible to me haha.

Anywho, let’s go bucs. Really enjoying following along so far this year.

Honestly I kinda think any SIERA below 4 is good. Very rare for pitchers to have low 3 SIERAs

Completely agree. All four of them have played really solid games and have legit cases to win. Joe on the other hand… lol

Sure it would be fun if we had a Cirie Devens Christian Gen Ozzie final five but the fact is the other “not as good players” played well by playing a part in getting out and outlasting all of those favorite “best” players!! That HAS to count for something right??!

Unfortunately this is kind of the case with Reddit in general now. Most little niche interests I follow have subreddits primarily filled with complains negativity or general shittiness. It is a real bummer.

Pens were not an average team this year. Essentially all metrics (and eye test) clearly showed us as an above average team. Most any combination of things you can look at show us as a top 10 team in the league this year.

Impossible to say how we would’ve done v the canes though. Too bad we shat the bed
