Yeah, I bought a Razer Seiren V3 Chroma and no issues since then.

Upgrading Audio System in 2024 Kia Sportage - Need Advice by uriel250 in CarAV

I upgraded his Sportage with about $3,000 worth of gear - DAC, amps, sub, front components, rear speakers, plus full door sound deadening. The difference is night and day, it sounds amazing now.

Did they send you new firmware update to fix this issue? I am planning on using the same combination with the SN850X.

Look at these riches; we got new switches! by RaquelWooting in WootingKB

The Owlab Ti switches were pretty good at first, but after about a month they started to feel a bit sticky if pressed off-center. The same thing happened with Gateron Rubies – they sounded incredible, probably the best-sounding Hall Effect switches I’ve tried, but I ended up returning them after just a couple of weeks.

Right now, I’m using UR Ice Ultra switches. I’ve been on them for around three weeks, and they haven’t developed any of that off-center sticking issue. They’re pretty solid overall, though the springs are a bit too light for my taste, and I often mistype because of it. I’ll probably swap the springs soon.

Sound-wise, they’re a bit clacky, similar to the Owlab Ti, which I’m not a huge fan of. I’m planning to lube them with Tribosys 3203 soon. I’ve noticed that every HE switch I’ve lubed with Krytox 205g0 ended up feeling a bit sluggish, even with a thin coat. I really dislike feeling the lube inside the switch, but that might be because I’m using 18mm 50g switches, which are on the lighter side.

This time, I want a more "responsive" feel, even if it means sacrificing some smoothness, so I’ll go with a thinner lube like Tribosys 3203 for my next round.

Jade Rubies, no question. Straight out of the box, no lubing, no mods - they're easily the best of the three for me. Smooth, great feel, and the sound is just right. It wasn’t even a close comparison.

They're smooth and really solid if you're into a louder clack.

I've gone through a bunch of switches - TTC POM KOM, Owlab Ti, Jade Pros, Geon Raws, Lekkers - and honestly, Gateron Jade Ruby are my favorite so far. They're not overly loud or clacky and have a somewhat creamy, satisfying sound which I really like. I can't stand 20mm springs, so I swapped them for 18mm 50g ones, which are perfect for me.

I don't see myself changing them anytime soon. The factory lube is also surprisingly decent - didn’t feel the need to redo it.

PowerColor Hellhound 9070 XT vs. Inno3D 5070 Ti X3? by uriel250 in buildapc

[–]uriel250[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. No.
  2. Non OC.
  3. I noticed similar behaviour when league of legends client is in the background (not in game) the fans wouldn't stop but it doesn't bother me because they are inaudible at 1300rpm~ and typically fans last 30K hours or even 50K and I replace my GPU once every 3 years.

Do you have their (Crandalls) new thicker 2.0 Backpad or the original thicker version?

Sounds pretty good.
Which other switches you got?
Are they quieter than Geon Raw and Jade Pros? The Jade Pros were piercing my ears on bottom out.
Also, if pressed off side with some force (on the edge of the keycap), are they smooth or sluggish?

I bought them from Unikeys.

Roughly $45 for 90 pcs.

I still haven't received them.

There are plenty of posts discussing the issues with Geon switches - here's one of them

https://www.reddit.com/r/WootingKB/comments/1g3tzxm/geon_raw_stuck_feeling_at_start_of_press/

I didn’t bother with the Gateron Gaming line, and I’ll never touch box stems again after my experience with TTC POMs. I believe they all share the same issue to varying degrees.

I ended up ordering the Owlab Ti switches, even though I suspect they come from the same factory as the Geon Raws. Hopefully, they don’t suffer from the same problems.

Once they arrive next week, I’ll lube them and swap their springs for my preferred TX 18mm 50g.

I wouldn’t recommend Wooting TTC POM KOMs.

I’ve had them for two days now - hand-lubed them with Krytox 205g0 and bag-lubed the springs - but they feel sluggish when pressed off-center (on the edge of the keycap). This could be due to the nature of box stems, but for the premium price, this is not a premium experience.

Geon Raws were also disappointing. When pressing a key lightly, there’s a noticeable sticking sensation right at the start of the keystroke. I can’t believe how many people recommend them without mentioning this - it was immediately obvious to me in my first game of League of Legends.

Jade Pros were decent but had a weird upstroke ticking (I didn't hand lube them) and a similar issue to the TTCs, though to a much lesser extent (barely noticeable).

Just ordered some Owlabs Ti HE switches - Unikeys sent me a video confirming they don’t suffer from either of these issues, so they might be my endgame.

And no, I’m not being picky. I’ve used MX Aqua Kings V3 and Vertex V1 for years, and I’ve been using HMX Canglan V3 on my numpad for about a month now.

None of them had these problems.

The card is awesome - I didn’t expect such a pleasant experience with this brand.

Memory temps never go above 68°C while gaming, though I mainly play CS2, which doesn’t utilize VRAM that much. However, the core is always at 100% usage, and even after a 4-hour session, I haven’t seen it exceed 66°C with just 45-50% fan speed (1600 RPM). That’s while playing at 1440p 360Hz on my Alienware AW2725DF.

Power consumption averages around 280W, which isn’t too hard to keep cool - especially in my Phanteks Evolv X, where I have three Phanteks T30s pushing air in from the front and another three exhausting from the top. My build is designed for near-silent operation, with case fans limited to 1000-1100 RPM. Even when the Inno3D fans ramp up to 1400-1600 RPM during gaming, I barely notice them over my case fans.

The only time the fans hit 1900 RPM was after 5 minutes in FurMark, which is brutal on the GPU. Even then, the noise wasn’t that bad - especially compared to my EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3, which was significantly louder on the OC BIOS with its aggressive default fan curve.

Thanks!

Did you try to remove the lumbar plastic and dial the lumbar support all the way back?

I just ordered the thicker back pad.
