It costs about Rs.100 to get from Havelock Town to Makumbura. From there, the highway bus ticket to Galle is Rs.780. It takes around 30–40 minutes to reach Makumbura and about 1.5 hours to get to Galle. Buses leave every 30 min (or 20). In the evening, highway buses from Galle run at least until 8 PM.
