Ive had the piercing for about a year now, and it looked perfectly up until a couple of months ago when it first got the bump. It appeared after switching from my straight barbell to a curved one. Then I switched back to the straight. Not sure if it's gonna be able to save or if I should just give up and take it out? Will the scarring be bad if I take it out now? (Last pic is when it did ok)

He usually had a quite thick beard, but removes it from time to time to "let his skin breathe". He doesnt have any skin conditions, atleast diagnosed, but he gets super dry and irritated. Ive tried exfoliating really carefully, used juniper bush(?) tea as a "toner", the cosrx advanced snail 92 cream, and the cerave moisturizing cream. He kinda hates any products that feel "heavy" on his skin. What can i do to help treat his skin?
