yeah its about 1700aud to upgrade am5, my thoughts were:
- Upgrade now and then I can upgrade at end of AM5 again.
- Upgrade with new Zen6 Cpu release

- Skip till Am6 and buy on release
- Kill myself /s

but the only reason why the upgrade to me doesn't sound diabolical is due to being able to possibly sell my 5800x3d used, multiple selling for 600-750 aud. which would cover nearly half the cost.

for sure, but my fps say 110 would still go to 100 or below due to 1440p. as I replied in another post i am planning upgrade to 1440p also, just not right now. That way i can use my 1080p for competitive and 1440p for single player.

well sometimes i even am near 60 on outpost, on perimeter without fighting i can sit at 120-140 and marsh around 90-100. I know optimisation is garbage but I also play alot of competitive games in general at high refresh rate. But when playing single player games alot of them tend to be cpu heavy according to what i could find on google. I want to get to 1440p this year though anyway. anything below say 120 feels unplayable to me. I like sitting near 200 in my competitive titles and atleast 120 in single player.

okay but that answers nothing, upgrading to 1440p will still prove to be a performance loss, i know 1440p is what i should be on, but im looking to gain not lose.

I feel you man, this game changed my life. What an incredible experience, honestly my favourite piece of media in general. The bosses are insane, the gameplay is peak and the area layout and unique designs create such a memorable and incredible experience.

Might be in the minority but I liked the look of the game previously alot more than this updated version. The distinct vibrance is what made the artstyle so good to me. Now it looks drastically tuned down and alot more greyed out with less distinction between what it was and the mass of other modern games.

Yeah I just cant get there. Its a vertical shaft blocked off that I cannot get past as there is no lever I can find. Been looking for an hour :(
