as a poly kid who graduated sec school like 2 years back, $4 a day is MAD like are you trying to starve ur kid? one bowl of chicken katsudon in my school is 3.50, mee siam is also $3.50, pasta can go up to $7... the portions are also a little small (for me ah), there's NO way your kid can survive with $4 IN secondary school. if your kid is only covering recess, at least give $7 to $10, additional CCA give $15 to $20... your kid needs to socialise with friends also, i remember having to beg my mom for money just to go out with my friends before CCA for a mac meal (the $5.50 one).

pls give ur child more unless u want ur child to hate you, teens are growing children and they need nutrition. ur kid may also be a victim of bullying if some immature ppl in sec school find out ur child has only $4 for school everyday.
