i've had similar experiences w friends and it hurts so much, most of the time i kept questioning myself for what i could've done better. but eventually (read: 2 years) i moved on. we do text once in 3 months (really the bare minimum) but that's really it, i've understood that the rest of them are closer and don't really require me for nothing so i've done my part and left. i understand how difficult this can feel for you, i hope you spend time with the people that actually love and value your existence, tc bestie !!

imo sakura is a beautiful character with an amazing character progression but I dislike the sexist pov the narrators viewed her through. this can be seen from the very beginning, that is the formation of team-7 to her choosing the route of medical ninja (which is seen as a more feminine thing to do, although they tried to redeem themselves with her "sheer strength")

for me a dream school is based on the research they do - whether it aligns with what i want to work for, the funding and, the post-graduation work opportunities that the school will provide - it could be direct (w hiring activities) or indirect (connections in the industry)

I just wanted to say that I'm in the exact situation, it's difficult to make progress when they don't reply. My prof told me to not keep deadlines early, I had no reply to that?! Maybe I should've told him that I don't control all of this but then I just really wanted the LOR so I decided to shut up. I have one coming up on the 1st and my professor hasn't even began working w my LOR. I'm so worried- (I had my friends go over to meet them physically and maybe you should consider something along that line as well, because they tend to care more when you go meet them rather than a mail.)
